The space This 83sqm apartment has polished floors, original native Kauri wood beams and exposed brick wall features over 2 floors. Located in the historic 'Carlisle' building is light and spacious, and recently painted and refurbished with furniture & fittings. Features and amenities include: a full kitchen with gas stove-top cooking an oven and all conveniences; linen & towels; lots of DVD's, especially for the kids; Netflix (as well as access to other media apps); high speed wireless internet with unlimited data download; complimentary car park suitable for small to medium sized vehicles; and a small library.
More information: This is a one bedroom apartment, with a King single bed in the study area. A door separates this sleeping area from the main bedroom, with separate access to the bathroom. The secure car park is suitable for small to medium sized cars only. Maximum length 4.8m. We provide all linen/ towels and all kitchenware and free to air TV. We don't stay in the apartment with you - it's all yours! You are most welcome to use everything you find in the kitchen: juice, tea, coffee, milk and cereal. We also leave you all the essentials, such as toilet paper, soap, dish-washing powder/ liquid, laundry powder - to help you settle in. Occasionally on Friday and Saturday nights there may be a foot traffic which could disturb light sleepers. There is also the usual shared building noise you would normally expect with inner city apartment living.
Guest access You have the apartment all to yourself. There is a lovely shady park just 50m up the road and several gyms and 'The Teps' public swimming pool nearby.
Other things to note * Check out is by 10am on the last day of booking. Check in is 3pm. * You can request different times and we will do our best to accommodate them, but please note, we usually have full occupancy so this may not be possible if we have a same day departure and arrival booked. However we normally should be able to store your luggage while we get your apartment ready. * If you are arriving early and definitely want to get in to the apartment right away we recommend that you book the night before.

The appartment was well equipped and very central, just a couple of minutes from our favoutite cafe Amano.Although we didn't utilise evrything to hand I did notice that the kitchen was very well equipped. The shower worked well and we eould be happy to stay again should the opportunity arise.
Place was ok could do with a good spruce up and a deep clean. Beds were comfy and the apartment was warm.
Over all we enjoyed our stay. The apartment is handy to every where
Apartment is in a great location with an easy walk to Spark Arena, Queen St, Sky Tower. Comfortable beds, great shower and just the space in general. Having the use of a car park was a brilliant bonus. All communications with Peter was friendly & welcoming. Easy check-in. Would definitely stay here again!
We loved this apartment and appreciated the parking (although they aren't kidding, it is a tight spot for a small car!). We walked to everything from here! Wish they had given more info. on the building - seems historic / restored but that's just a guess. Highly recommend.

Excellent Auckland CBD apartment that was exactly as advertised and came fully stocked with everything you need to feel at home. Great location, close and walkable to all the downtown sites and transportation links. Multiple fans and windows that open help cool it down in the absence of air conditioning, and “light-filled” also includes at night, so those who prefer dark rooms will need to bring a sleep mask. Otherwise, a great apartment with parking downtown makes this a great value.

Excellent communication with the host, very helpful and provided useful recommendations.
As mentioned by other guests the bedroom window is at street level so noise late at night did happen but wasn’t a big issue. The window is not on a Main Street.
Coffee, milk and cereal were available for us, nice touch.
