Disliked: Communication
This room is in a house with a number of tenants in more rooms and the bathrooms are shared. It is however, as advertised, a queen room. Just a bed, fridge and wifi.

This unit is not the entire house. It is a rooming/boarding house mainly for men. Someone entered my room when I stepped out after checking in. On the day of check in I had to request instructions on checking in. The bedding was torn, the mini fridge in the room was dirty. The bedroom was not the one in the advertisement. The toilet was broken and the handle to the bathroom was also broken. The shower was filled with personal products belonging to the people occupying the other rooms and the shower was dirty. When I contacted the host I was told that it is implied in the listing that this was a shared accomodation and should have expected it as such. It was listed as a full house rental, not shared.VRBO eventually gave me a refund but did not get this resolved until 5am. At this point I had already spent the night in my car as I was afraid to sleep in this unit. I had asked for another place to spend the night but was told that a refund was all they could do for me.
