The location worked really well for us. We parked our car and didn't get back in it until we checked out.It was hot. The weather was in the 90's. The fans did not keep us as cool as we would have liked. There is one set of doors to open (no other windows), and there were no screens. Therefore, we were uncomfortable. The unit was nice, the communication was excellent. We wished it had been cooler.
Exceeded expectations in every way! The space is even better than the photos. Bright, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was perfect. The location is ideal. Quiet but steps away from great cafes, restaurants, and shops.Everything was spotless and well stocked. Check-in was seamless and communication was clear the whole time.It feels like a high-end boutique stay. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Calgary.
I had such a great stay at Jonathan's loft! Even before I booked l, he was super responsive and went out of his way to answer all my questions. The space itself is beautiful, clean, spacious and thoughtfully decorated. I loved all the little touches that made it feel extra welcoming, like the snacks, drinks and toiletries. The location was perfect too, an easy walk to lots of great restaurants and cute local shops. I'd absolutely stay here again next time I'm in town!
This was a cute loft in a great neighborhood with wonderful restaurants, shops, walking paths by the river, and within walking distance of downtown. As shown in the pictures, there are steep steps that one needs to negotiate to get up to the loft. Not an issue, but be aware. There were good directions provided for entry. The host admitted he was new to VRBOing, and it showed. I describe it as "more sizzle than steak." By that I mean there were cute decorative elements, but not basics. There were no washcloths, sugar, salt, pepper, toaster, or functioning outlet in the upstairs bathroom. The host mentioned he needed to get around to fixing it! The A/C was not working and the upstairs loft bedroom was quite stuffy. There was as beautiful Dyson fan provided, but that too did not work. There were several drawers provided for our clothing storage, but they were already filled up with extra host goods. No coasters were provided, and the 2 night tables were already ruined. There was a tub shower upstairs. The floor of the tub was so slippery as to be a hazard. A mat and/or grab bars should be considered, as mentioned to the host. The towel bar outside the shower had already been pulled from the wall as shown by the unsanded plaster patches. I'm not sure the loft was used prior to our visit, for I could write my name in the dust on the coffee table. The Dyson fan was not clean and the lower level HVAC return was filthy.
This loft is great for a Calgary trip! Close to lots of restaurants, shops, downtown, the zoo, river trails, etc. The unit is well equipped, beds were comfy, and its pretty quiet. Designated parking spot was really appreciated in this area.Thank you!
Place is ABSOLUTELY amazing, despite looking a little small it is actually huge and the pictures do not do it justice despite looking sooo good.Clean, comfortable and theres a nice balcony where and and friends can sit and feel like ure having morning tea in paris
The condo would be great in the winter but it’s hot as hades in the summer with no AC. There is a fan that you add ice water to but it doesn’t help at all. The towel rack in the bathroom is hanging on by duct tape and a prayer. Needs to either be completely removed or find a stud in the wall and anchor it in. There is one window but it doesn’t have a screen. There are birds everywhere and I feared a bird or bugs would come in so we just stood in the shower blasting cold water on ourselves to cool down. We checked out a day early because it was too hot.
