With soaring ceilings, a cozy fireplace, rustic charm, and stunning hinterland views, it’s an entertainer’s dream house.
Named after the original owners’ dream of planting a rose orchard, Linden Rose Barn continues their legacy as a place of beauty, calm, and connection. Inspired by the healing symbolism of the linden rose, this unique space invites guests to relax, recharge, and make unforgettable memories. 🫶
With expansive indoor-outdoor living and a stunning western-facing view over rolling hills, this is a stay like no other. Sip sunset drinks on the deck, cozy up by the indoor fireplace, or gather friends and family in the versatile entertaining spaces. And when night falls, the skies dazzle with stars, thanks to near-zero light pollution, it's pure magic. From romantic escapes to milestone celebrations, Linden Rose Barn transforms to fit your vision. 🌠
Spend your days however you please - uncork a bottle of local wine and graze on a charcuterie board as the sun sinks over the hills, or lace up your hiking boots and explore Kondalilla Falls, just minutes from your door. Venture into Montville for boutique shopping and quaint cafés, or head to Maleny for a morning coffee and stroll through the village. Pack a picnic and relax by Lake Baroon, brave the rope swing at Gardners Falls, wander the rainforest paths of Mary Cairncross Reserve, or meet native birds at Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World. For a full day of adventure, Australia Zoo is just a short drive away. About your Hosts 👨👩👧
Your hosts, Britney and Michael, along with their adventurous 3-year-old daughter, have been living and hosting in Montville for the past four years, beginning with their first successful Airbnb, Ananda Eco House. As a young family, they’re passionate about creating unique, nature-connected spaces where guests can slow down, reconnect, and make lasting memories. After curating hundreds of 5-star reviews at Ananda Eco House, they were excited to take on a new project, and in 2025, they proudly acquired Linden Rose Barn, a space full of character and potential. 🛠️
Linden Rose Barn is their second hosting project, and one they truly believe in. Britney and Michael are excited to bring this unique barn to life for even more guests to enjoy, whether as a peaceful retreat, a vibrant gathering place for milestone celebrations, or a canvas for creativity and connection. With their passion for thoughtful design and meaningful experiences, they’re committed to making Linden Rose Barn as unforgettable as their first beloved property. 🌲
During your stay, your hosts are nearby if you need anything, but will always respect your privacy. They occasionally stay in the converted ‘art studio’ just adjacent to the barn which is completely private and separate, or at their other property a few minutes down the road. Whether you’d like local recommendations, have a question, or simply want to say hello, Britney and Michael are more than happy to help, yet equally happy to leave you to enjoy the space in peace. You’ll have complete privacy throughout your stay, but they’re always just a message away if you’d like to connect or need assistance. 🙌
Just as they’re passionate about meaningful stays, they’re equally committed to minimizing their environmental footprint. Every detail of their Airbnbs reflects this ethos: from refillable, plastic-free cleaning products and low-tox supplies, to composting bins, rainwater harvesting, and eco-friendly laundry essentials. Wherever possible, they source furniture and decor second-hand, carefully restoring or upcycling pieces to give them new life, while supporting local artisans and small businesses along the way. Guests are encouraged to join in this mission by recycling, composting food waste, and embracing sustainable living during their stay. ♻️
