Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice place, great location, very clean, easy parking, fantastic - responsive host, big hot tub.

This place is pretty outdated.There are several TVs and it’s really hard to work because it’s like your grandma‘s dish network. There is a giant window in the front of the unit and if you don’t close the door when you go to the bathroom, everyone in the parking lot can see you pee/take a shower.Several fans don’t work and there’s a toilet that’s constantly running.When we arrived everyone’s feet were black because the floors are really dirty.With all that being said that location is ideal. The pools are perfect for kids and it’s amazing with the lake access.I would stay in the general vicinity in the future, but maybe not in this particular unit. It would be great if there were more amenities included like beach chairs, SUPs, etc.Overall, this places decent, but I would not rent in the future

We're sorry to hear that certain aspects of the home did not meet your expectations. We truly would have appreciated the opportunity to address the concerns you mentioned while you were still in the home. Unfortunately, we were not made aware of any of these issues until after you had checked out. Had we known during your stay, we would have gladly worked to troubleshoot the TVs, inspect the fans and the running toilet, and have housekeeping address your concerns regarding the floors. For future guests to note, Lakeland Village was built over 50 years ago, in 1973. It is a fabulously unique property, as it is right on the lake, with a beautiful beach, pier, boat buoys, two swimming pools, hot tub, fire pits, and is within walking distance of groceries and dining. There are no other properties like this in South Lake Tahoe, and there will never be another due to building restrictions around the lake. While some of the buildings reflect the character of the property's age, its unmatched lakeside location and amenities continue to make it a favorite destination for many guests. We also appreciate your suggestions regarding additional beach amenities such as chairs and paddleboards. Guest feedback is always valuable as we continue evaluating ways to improve the experience.
