Position was excellent with close proximity to beach n shops. 180 degrees of uninterrupted ocean views very short walk to the impressive beach. The driveway is very steep but cleverly has steps built into the centre of the driveway. Parking car in garage tricky but it's a short 15 walk to shopping square with great little shops, choice of cuisines and supermarket.
We absolutely loved this property! The location is fantastic, and our little dog had the best time — the courtyard is perfect for a small pet. The house itself is a great size, with two living rooms that work perfectly for adults with teenagers.A couple of things to note: the beds could be a bit firmer, and the property may not be suitable for anyone who has difficulty with stairs. There are three internal stairs, and the walk to the beach could be a lot for those with mobility concerns or very young children.Overall, though, it’s a wonderful stay in a great spot!
Very clean property. Absolutely amazing views!! Great amount of space across 3 levels. We had a lovely stay! We would’ve liked to have been told about the very steep driveway and the amount of stairs/ walking. The garage is also very difficult to park in and pull out of. I would be reconsidering if you don’t do well with walking or stairs. Other than that, it was a lovely stay! Perfect for our 2 doggies too. Thank you. We will likely be back!
We had an extremely distressing experience at this property and regrettably cannot recommend staying here. Shortly after arrival we discovered extensive mould throughout the apartment, widespread issues from moisture damage that had clearly existed for some time. We have hundreds of photos and videos documenting the extent. Within days every member of our family developed symptoms consistent with mould exposure including headaches, respiratory irritation and digestive upset, worsening when inside. We alerted the host with evidence and requested assistance. Instead of showing concern for health or safety, he replied that he would “vigorously dispute and refute all claims”. At no stage did he ask if our children were safe, offer relocation, or provide proof of remediation or a clearance certificate confirming the property was fit for habitation. The situation deteriorated to the point we felt unsafe remaining indoors. We ultimately vacated early and were left outside in heatwave conditions with our belongings, as no alternative rentals were available during Christmas. We are now dealing with contaminated luggage and clothing requiring specialised cleaning and remain deeply concerned about long-term health impacts. A property owner has a duty of care to provide safe accommodation, and when visible mould is present and guests become unwell, maintaining that a property is “fine” is unacceptable and dangerous.

As a property manager of holiday homes for over 20 years, I take great care and pride in my work. Guest health and safety is paramount and completely infused within my work ethic. The consistent highly rated reviews over many years for properties under my management is testament to this.
To receive a message from a guest stating a property is uninhabitable due to extensive mould contamination is, to say the least, somewhat perplexing. This is a property where dozens of guests have recently stayed and thoroughly enjoyed their holidays (please refer to other recent reviews on this and other platforms). This is a property that gets professionally cleaned and checked at least once per week on average. This is a property where the owners stayed for over a week directly before this booking - the booking where extensive mould was ‘discovered’. Is it not reasonable to assume that if extensive mould was evident that it would have been ‘discovered’ by at least one more guest, the cleaner, the property manager or the owner? This property has been continually occupied for over 18 months by numerous different guests and tenants, and not one other person has experienced or noticed this.
Therefore, please excuse me when receiving such a claim accompanied by the demand of a full refund and relocation, that ‘asking if the children are safe’ was not the first thought that came to mind. From the ‘hundreds of photos and videos documenting the extent’, this clearly demonstrates that your knowledge and understanding of property and property maintenance is somewhat limited, with an added sprinkling of delusion. Left on the street in heatwave conditions with contaminated luggage and clothing that requires specialised cleaning – WOW!!! Not even sure what that means.
I respect and appreciate the review system for both guests and owners/managers. However, should there be ramifications for guests who abuse this process by publicising inaccurate and/or false claims with possible ulterior motives?
I can only trust that potential future guests will read between the lines of this particular review and see it for what it really is.
I’m also hopeful that other owners/managers are not subject to future ‘extremely distressing experiences’ by this particular guest, as this should be considered ‘unacceptable and dangerous’.
