The Space: Airconditined in the downstairs bedroom, the lounge with a log fire for winter and BBQ and outdoor setting for summer. Unspoilt vista views from the lower and upper veranda make this ideal for a stress-free or romantic or family getaway. Fully self-contained kitchen and cosy lounge and open plan dining area. Great for inclusive conversation or simply tuning out of lifes daily stresses. A walk to the Ravensbourne National Park or a short drive to beautiful Lake Cressbrook and the waterfall at Crows Nest. Or simply lunch or dinner at Myrtille Bistro at Crows Nest 18 minutes away. This is our latest micro-region eatery specilaising in locally sourced and organic foods served gourmet-style.
Guest Access: Your chalet is located in the gated area of Hillside Estate on a high point overlooking the Brisbane valley and National Parks. Your gate code will get you in any time.
The Neighborhood: You are situated on the cool green Great Dividing Range escarpment at 2400 feet above sea level. With amazing views of the Brisbane Valley below and as far south as New South Wales. Or simply stay in and enjoy the log fire in winter on misty days or a bbq on the veranda in Summer Unspoilt, tranquil and relaxing. Only a short drive to cafes, Pubs and bistros for breakfast lunch or dinner. We are a 10 minute drive from pretty Lake Cressbrook and Hampton Visitors Centre. Within 20 minutes Discover Crows Nest with its cafes and quaint country vibe , great coffee, a 5 star eatery - Myrtille, and local art & crafts, supermarket, local pub and Village square . Why not try out the Pechey Gin Distillery for local spirits and great characters, or discover the Crows Nest National Park and waterfall.
Getting Around: You will come by car and this will be necessary for your travel around the area. Under cover parking is provided free at your house.
Other Things to Note: No pets or loud parties please, and please - Place your rubbish and recyclingoutside in the plastic bins - leave the ash and coals in the fireplace - make sure lights and aircon are turned off - dishes washed and put away - close all windows and doors.
