Ludovic's property was absolutely perfect for our needs and we so enjoyed our stay in Sarlat, a short walk from the medieval center. It was neat as a pin and had all the essentials, including a washer and dryer in a laundry room outside the unit (the dryer doesn't put out a lot of heat, as anticipated, but there's a drying rack to finish the job!) and the covered and secure parking was greatly appreciated as was Ludovic's almost immediate responses to any inquiries. A little noise above us during the day wasn't an issue around 9/9:30 each night and we slept like a rock. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Merci encore for everything!

Great Location

What a lovely property to stay in to visit the town of Salart. The property is well positioned and has the added bonus of very close secure parking undercover. The property is exactly as shown in the photos and was very comfortable to stay in for 10 nights..

Pros:Fabulous location with many sights & restaurants within a 7 minute walk.Possible to pull car over in front to unload.Every room was spacious; it was a very nice place to come home to after a day sightseeing.Comfortable bed, large dresser, enough hangers, tables and lamps on both sides of the bed.Appreciated 2 sinks in bathroom and thick terry robes. Soap and shampoo provided. Good shower.Kitchen well enough equipped.Large dining table, comfortable couch.Dedicated parking space in secure garage.Host was extremely responsive when we had issues.We really enjoyed our stay Cons:Garage is a block away; due to one way streets, it would have been an 8 minute drive to bring car to the apartment.There are stairs equivalent to 2 flights from the street to the apartment.The washer and dryer are outside the apartment; we didn't know if they're shared, so couldn't start either machine and leave. These stupid American tourists couldn't figure out what settings to use. When we contacted host, he told us what drawer (inadequate) instructions were in. How would we know to look?One pod of dishwasher soap is insufficient for our 8 night stay. Expecting us to buy a full container is unreasonable. When we expressed this to host, he sent over more.Host expected us to carry garbage several blocks to dispose of it.Bath towels are quite small, but there were 2 per person, so we made it work.

L'Idéal

Bel appartement très bien situé. Bien décoré et confortable.Le parking qui est un vrai plus, à quelques pas de l'appartement, est couvert et peut héberger une voiture de belle taille.Nous reviendrons dans ce lieu dès que nous reviendront dans la région

Appartement bien apprécié de part son emplacement (à proximité des commerces +centre historique)

Confortablement installé, à réitérer sans aucun problème. Propriétaire à l’écoute. (Pour ce qui est des pauses TV en soirée > gros bémol au sujet de la captation !!! je reverrai avec l’opérateur FREE (pour le citer), il est impensable d’honorer pour une telle prestation) et cette remarque n’engage que moi bien entendu.

Lovely apartment in Sarlat la Caneda

Brand new apartment in the medieval centre of the beautiful Sarlat, two minute walk from restaurants, bars, the Saturday market and Kew tourist attractions. The flat is lovely decorated, very clean and new, it has everything you need including air conditioning for the hottest days. Communication with Ludovic was excellent, he was always approachable and extremely helpful. I recommend this apartment and if coming back to Sarlat I would definitely stay there again.
