The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
The outdoor trash and recycling bins are located at the bottom of the stairs.
Turn off all heating sources including electric fireplace.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Large oven is functional however the door heats up more than usual. Unsafe for pets/kids especially. So we have a small toaster oven for safer use.
Shovelling the staircase that is used to access the rental unit is the responsibility of the renter, shovel will be provided during the snowy season.
Pets: they must be house trained, non destructive, no excessive noise. Renter is responsible to pick up after their pet while on the property.

We are a family who loves finding different ways to spend quality time together. This cottage has built so many beautiful memories for our family and friends, and so we decided why not share our space with other families and friends and give them the space to create their own lasting memories.

Why they chose this property

As a family and/or with friends have always loved to vacation in Duhamel. In the warmer months, our kids love the nature hikes and spending the day at Lac Simon and our dog loves when we take him on paddle board adventures. In the winter the kids love sledding (so does the dog!). And as a family we enjoy snowshoeing, skating, and winter hiking. We've also shared many great memories with friends at the beach, or late nights stargazing over a glass of wine and great conversation. There is really something for everyone!

What makes this property unique

This cottage is set up to bring an outdoor vibe inside, with many windows overlooking the treetops, the beautiful gardens, and clear night sky. You will feel at one with nature.
Since we are nestled in the woods, you may see black flies, mosquitos, lady bugs, or other bugs/insects. We do our best to keep them out, but it is normal for some to sneak in. If you are easily spooked by these types if creepy crawlies this rustic stay may not be for you. Otherwise, we hope you embrace nature in it's fullest and enjoy your stay!
