About this property
Stoney Chute Eco-Cabin 2: off-grid, cosy farm-stay retreat 5km from Nimbin.
Stoney Chute eco-Cabins look down the valley towards Nimbin rocks, which are spectacular at any time of the day or night; and the location is a perfect retreat from the village but close enough for hassle-free transport to cafes, festivals, events and tourism adventures in the area.
Enjoy the comfort of a completely self-contained off-grid eco-cabin, queen bed with luxurious linens and ensuite bathroom; galley-style kitchen with oven, stove & microwave; living-room with sofa-bed, TV & games; and a furnished deck to take in the morning sun, a BBQ dinner, or the starry skies at night. All powered by solar with composting amenities and grey-water systems that feed a sub-tropical syntropic fruit forest!
If needed, we can also accommodate some supplies for your arrival, such as basics from the local growers market (bread, cheese, milk etc available at cost). For special celebrations on the deck (just because you can), please enquire about our breakfast and dinner hampers, which are high quality pre-prepared meals & snacks from produce grown on the farm or sourced locally.
For walkers and artists, there are easy tracks through the farm to visit a magificent sentinel tree, paddocks full of friendly cows, and the creek and rainforest (where you may see koalas).
As a working farm, we have dogs and livestock so unfortunately cannot accommodate other animals as guests (other than for medical assistance).
