We encountered several issues regarding cleanliness and basic amenities during our stay.First, the grill was not clean upon our arrival. My mother had to clean it thoroughly before use, and she cleaned it again prior to departure.Second, the property completely lost hot water after the first night. Due to late flights, only my elderly parents stayed at the house that initial night; the rest of our group arrived later. When we reported this, the property manager asked pointed questions implying our group was at fault. Although the manager later stated they were simply "taking everything into account," this questioning was unprofessional given that only two elderly individuals were present when the system failed.Management then claimed they sent a plumber while we were out, but stated the plumber could not enter because we had the keys. It is highly concerning that a property management company does not retain a spare key for maintenance emergencies.Ultimately, an entirely new water heater was delivered the day before checkout. Ordering a full replacement without a plumber ever gaining diagnostic access demonstrates this was a major, likely pre-existing appliance failure.While the space accommodated us, the lack of essential utilities and management's poor handling of this emergency made for an uncomfortable stay.
