This lake front cottage is approx. 325sq. of adorable efficiency living space. It has an open floor plan with full size bed, bathroom and kitchen in a studio style. Beautiful new wood flooring, apartment size stove, oven, refrigerator, flat screen TV and microwave. The large outdoor deck is perfect for morning coffee, sunbathing or just watching the gorgeous sunset. Wade right in for a swim or go fishing off the dock! You just can't beat the serenity of lake front life.

A beautifully done cottage for a perfect solitary retreat or even a romantic getaway for two. Lake was peaceful and calm in morning and at night with just a little fun activity during the day. Beautiful sunsets and quiet atmosphere. Cottage has just what you need, nothing more. Perfect.

Clean, comfortable and warm lake water. Better table for outdoor umbrella would have been helpful for hot, sunny days. Queen size bed would have been nice although we knew beforehand that it’s a double bed.

Relaxing stay, beautiful lake, fun fishing, and relaxing firepit. Just wish our stay was longer. The kitchen has everything you need if you plan to cook during your stay.

Beautiful lake view!

My stay was for three nights. Shopping and beach areas approximately 30-35 minutes away but the lakefront cottage more than made up for it. I would definitely stay here again!

Lakeside Rest

Spent a very relaxing few days here and Dee was truly quick to respond to each of our needs while we were staying even over the holiday weekend. The sunsets were beautiful. Recommended adding a way to shade the back deck and upgrade the furniture there but we enjoyed cooking on the grill, sitting out by the fire pit (Propane) after sunset in the Adirondack chairs, and then overall beauty of the ridge across from the lake. Beautiful spot!

Anniversary

The cottage was so cute. We enjoyed sitting in tne dec enjoying the lake. It was beautiful and peaceful. We did go I town. We went to Wadsworth falls that was nice hike. We wanted to just relax as much as we can and enjoy the cottage because of our short stay. We definitely want to come back. Who knows maybe in tne future we can purchase a cottage in the lake. Thank very much for having us at your cottage. I love the decorating that you have done and the updates. Kim and Dave

Very pleasant!

Hello! Thanks for a lovely stay in this beautiful cabin. It was exactly what I was looking for. A couple items I noticed during my stay that could prove helpful for future residents. 1. It would have been nice to have more than one toilet paper roll for a 20 day stay. 2. It seemed like the whole kitchen was equipped except for a little pot to make oatmeal or heat up something small. 3. I brought an electric tea kettle, but it would be nice to have a tea pot for such a zen space. 4. The ad pictured a very comfy and well equipped porch and I was disappointed to find the opposite. I disagree with advertising a space that is not available as such especially with the porch being the focal point of the lake house. With all that said, I thought I got locked out of the cabin and I was so relieved Dee got back to me ASAP and validated my fears. She was comforting and I needed it. Thank you again for providing a safe and clean home to heal and rejuvenate. Best, Isabelle

Anniversary trip

Absolutely defied our expectations. We stayed for a couple of nights to attend an art festival a while away, and the location allowed us to get to so many different areas of CT easily. The lake, the cottage and the pretty little lawn between the cottage and the water are clean and well maintained. The property owner was really responsive. Such a positive experience and we hope to return!
