The Space:

L’Uliveto 2 by Tiny Away sits on a hillside olive grove in Castilenti, just 35 minutes from Pescara and close to Torre di Cerrano, the Costa dei Trabocchi, and the Abruzzo coast. Enjoy tiny house living with views of the Gran Sasso range, while staying near Rocca Calascio, Campo Imperatore, and Parco della Majella.



This 252-square-foot tiny house in Italia features easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an electric-heated shower, hand basin, and eco-friendly cassette toilet.



IMPORTANT NOTE: There are two tiny houses on the property, available with 24 hours’ notice, giving you even more cozy holiday homes to enjoy.



Guest Access:

Guests can access the tiny house and its outdoor area surrounded by olive trees, entering through the main gate but enjoying a fully private, fenced space of their own.

- A charcoal BBQ grill is available, and wooden charcoal (3 kg including lighter) can be purchased for €5.



The Neighborhood:

L’Uliveto 2 by Tiny Away sits in the heart of Abruzzo, surrounded by the charm of Castilenti—a town rooted in farming, tradition, and known for its olive oil and wine. Here, classic trattorias, small bars, and views stretching to Gran Sasso create an authentic local feel.



You’re just 35 minutes from Pescara and within easy reach of Torre di Cerrano, the Costa dei Trabocchi, Rocca Calascio, and Campo Imperatore. Castilenti hosts lively summer festivals and markets, with convenient access to Parco della Majella, Lago di Campotosto, and cultural sites like Casa di D’Annunzio in Pescara.



Getting Around:

By Car:



- A 2WD vehicle is enough to reach any part of the area.

- Roads are accessible and well-connected for standard cars.



By Public Transport:

- The area is not well served by buses or taxis.

- It's important to plan ahead and check schedules or availability in nearby towns.

- Consider arranging a pickup or renting a car at your arrival point.



By Flight:



- The nearest airport is Abruzzo Airport (PSR) in Pescara, about 45 minutes by car.

- You can rent a car at the airport or book a private transfer.

- Rome’s airports (Fiumicino - FCO and Ciampino - CIA) are about 2.5 to 3 hours away by car.

- From Rome, renting a car is recommended as public connections are limited near Castilenti.

- Wifi is not available

- Mobile reception has good signals

- There are two tiny houses on the property

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- Smoking is allowed in designated areas of the property

- Please note that more extended stays or late check-outs will incur an extra charge

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge.

- Pets are allowed by 24 hrs prior notice, and must be on leash at all times. The full policy will be sent before arrival.

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
