Welcome to Potter’s Place, a charming and pet-friendly 2-bedroom, 2-bath retreat nestled on a quiet private road. This delightful home honors the legacy of island native Walter P. Garrish, offering guests an authentic taste of Ocracoke’s rich heritage and laid-back coastal vibe.
Inside, you’ll find two comfortable bedrooms, both with queen sized beds, two full bathrooms, and a cozy open loft featuring a pyramid bed with a double over queen, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. Step out onto one of two spacious decks, including a screened-in front porch ideal for enjoying the island breeze on warm evenings.
The home features a well-maintained, fully equipped kitchen, ready for preparing your favorite meals. After a day of exploring the island, rinse off in the convenient outdoor shower tucked beneath the house.

Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival.
No smoking. Pets Allowed. Parking is limited to two vehicles.
Short Stays are available; there is a three-night minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival.
