Sounds Good to Me is an Outer Banks vacation rental featuring 6 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms, that has everything you need and more for a great time in Corolla! Located in the Corolla Light community, Sounds Good to Me gives you access to the community pools, beaches, sports center, and tennis & pickleball courts plus even more great, community amenities. For your convenience, Corolla Light offers you and your guests free access to the trolley, giving you access to all of Corolla Light's amenities as well as an easy ride to the beach! The trolley runs every 15-20 minutes. Sounds Good to Me also features a private pool so you and your family can relax right at home! When you need some time out of the sun, head to the rec room where you can play a round of pool or just relax and watch TV, grab a book from our well stocked library or a play a board game with your family.

Sounds Good to Me hosts a reverse floor plan highlighting sound views from the living and dining areas and kitchen on the top floor. Our well stocked kitchen is open to the dining room and family room. Seating for 12 allows your family to enjoy dining together. The top level also has a spacious king master suite and beautiful decks to enjoy the sound breezes and sunset over the Currituck Sound.

The mid-level includes a king master suite, two additional queen bedrooms, full bath, and a den perfect for hanging out, reading, gaming or catching a nap. The washer and dryer is also on this level. Step out onto the front mid-level deck to enjoy swinging and lounging in the hammock.

The ground level offers a bunk room (twin over full, with an extra twin trundle provided) , a queen bedroom, a full bath and a rec room with a pool table. The rec room accesses the rear patio which leads to the private swimming pool.

This 6 bedroom, 4 bath home is walking distance to the sound where you can enjoy walks, bike rides, kayaking, paddle boarding, and more. The walking paths within Corolla Light Resort lead to a private beach, oceanfront and soundside swimming pools, basketball, volleyball, tennis, a health club with indoor lap pool, mini golf, an oceanfront restaurant, soundside access and trolleys. Guest wristbands are included with your stay so you may enjoy all that Corolla Light has to offer. Our home is a short bike ride (or a 10 minute or less walk) to the Corolla Light Oceanfront Complex & The Oceanfront Grille, Corolla Light Town Center, the Whalehead Club, the Currituck Beach Lighthouse and historic Corolla Village.

For the security of our home when we do not have guests and to ensure proper guest count at check in, we have a Ring security camera facing our driveway. Resort security also patrols the resort nightly.

Best Vacation Ever!

This was our first family vacation in Corolla. We enjoyed every minute of this beautiful home and the resort. The owner responded promptly to any questions that we had and she went out of her way to make it special for us. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for making this the best vacation ever.

Amazing Vacation

The house was outstanding, just as described, perfect location, and amazing amenities . Everything was perfect upon arrival, clean, organized, and Amanda was very helpful throughout our stay if we had any questions. The home is warm, welcoming, and well stocked. We found it incredibly comfortable inside and out, from plush beds, games to play, and front porch seating to gather for a sunset or glass of wine. The home is spacious and suites all ages easily, we were a group of 6, ages 5-75 and every one of us loved this home. Amazing memories made, sad to leave, excited to return!

Great time and great house

We had a lot of fun at the house and in the location, for a group of teens staying for the week, the location was perfect. I would recommend renting bikes from the house to get to and from places for ease but it isn’t necessary. Otherwise, the house was perfect. Great rooms, TVs in almost every room. Comfortable couches and a nice pool and hot tub. We enjoyed our time a lot and our host was fair with us. We didn’t leave on time and were justly penalized for this so just keep in mind that the rules are strict and need to be followed. In conclusion I highly recommend!

We are a family of 5 from Chesapeake, VA. We love all that the Corolla community has to offer. We have three children (ages 11, 17, and 20) and were looking for a resort for all ages and a home away from home. We love the Corolla Light Community and that we can walk or bike to just about anything we desire! We hope you enjoy your stay!

Why they chose this property

Corolla Light Resort offers many activities and we rarely leave the community. Private beach access and private pools (sound side and oceanfront), basketball, tennis, pickle ball - these are only a few things the resort offers. With Corolla Light Town Center right next door, we walk to nearly everything we do while at the resort. Sound access is directly across the street from our home and we enjoy kayaking and paddle boarding in the sound along with the most gorgeous sunsets you'll ever see.

What makes this property unique

3-level living is wonderful when traveling with other families. Our home has an open floor plan and is decorated in my favorite, bright, soothing colors. Lots of windows mean a bright airy home (with room darkening curtains in bedrooms if that is your preference!) Our home is set up with everything you can need - comfortable couches and beds, fully outfitted kitchen, 4 full bathrooms and multiple living areas. We hope you enjoy staying at our home as much as we do!
