I liked the price and ease of entrance to the building. That said, the place could have been cleaner. There were dirty towels in a hamper, half full trash can, a dirty mostly used bar of soap on the sink, and the floors were gritty. The beds were comfortable but I found some long hairballs in the twin bed sheets.

Our stay was ok - the unit was as described. It is in a convenient, downtown location with off-street parking. It wasn't very clean, and though it wasn't terrible, it reminded my off my busy household before cleaning day - floors hadn't been cleaned, stoptop had a food spill, and the toilet and bathroom sink had obviously not been cleaned. There was also old food in the fridge/freezer. All in all, ok but not sure we'd stay again. We did not advise the host as we didn't want to disrupt our stay by having cleaners come.

Hi Véronique, Thank you for your message and for sharing your perspective. We understand that normal wear can occur over time. However, prior to your stay, the sofa was stable and in good working condition, as confirmed by our cleaning and inspection process. It had been used regularly without issue. After your departure, we found that the sofa leg had collapsed and could not support normal use, which required repair. Based on this, we believe the damage goes beyond typical wear and tear. For this reason, we feel it is reasonable to request compensation for the repair. We are happy to provide details of the repair if helpful and discuss this further with you. Desperately needs a deep clean - floor is very dirty, found a hair in the fridge, and layers of dust in the bathroom, etc. My 12 year old daughter washed her bed sheets because she was convinced those weren't clean. She found someone else's clothes in the dryer. Area is kinda sketchy. There were some regulars that hung out across the street all day every day.. Price was decent but definitely wouldn't stay here again.
