Welcome to New Street Cottage, a warm and inviting home in the heart of Portland, sleeps 6 with split system heating and cooling and electric fire

Relax by the electric fireplace and large flat screen Tv , cook up a family meal in the fully equipped kitchen, or simply enjoy what portland has to offer The outside of the home is in need of a paint and gardens also need work and weeding so this will be upgraded in the near future when the home is vacant . If this is not ok please don’t book

•. House is not much to look at on the outside and is planned to be renovated when home is unoccupied the gardens also need some work so please excuse this we are doing our best there are also weeds in the garden

The house was nice enough and close to amenities.The down side is the master bedroom had the stench of cigarettes smells that even the diffuser could not hide. Not sure if the previous tenant was a heavy smoker and hence the smoke smell was in the mattress.There were no dishwashing detergent or detergent for the dishwasher.

Thanks so much for your review yes we did have someone break the rules and smoke in the house despite cleaner washing all the walls and replacing linen it did not come out so we have now re painted the room and replaced all bedding blinds etc so it’s all good the dish washing tablets and liquid is in the cubord under the sink
