4 BEDROOM 2.5 BATH, SLEEPS UP TO 10 PEOPLE
Nestled in the desired Plumas Pines, you will find this one-of-kind 4 bedroom house with yard. This large home boasts an open floorplan great for entertaining or large family gatherings. Fully fenced and landscaped yard with deck that is great for younger kids and features café lights at night for a great ambiance. Large living area features a wood burning fireplace and a 65” smart TV for all your subscriptions.

The designated cook will appreciate the well-stocked kitchen including air fryer, crock pot, Keurig, blender and quality cookware. The deck is equipped with a 4 burner propane BBQ ready for larger cookouts.
There are two larger suites, both with deck access, one with a Queen and the other a Cal-King. Two more bedrooms - one with Queen and the other with (2) Full sized beds. Complete with fresh linens and pillows for your convenience.
Garage is utilized as a game room featuring ping pong, darts and a LED TV.

We do offer a 10% discount on service teams contracted to the area. Contact us for further details.

New in 2025 central air conditioning has been installed in the house. Air conditioning is a RARE amenity in vacation rentals in the area but we know your summer trips are valuable so treat yourself.

Our "No Pets" rule is based on pet allergies. If you bring a pet we must have the house deep cleaned which requires an extra day between rentals---a cost of $500 is passed on to you. There are other rentals that welcome pets, sorry. We have another house in the area that does allow dogs, the Tree House.

Plenty of parking on this semi-circle driveway and a pad on the side for overflow or fishing boat.

THE AREA AND OTHER ACTIVITIES
Located 1 hour from Reno or Tahoe, 2 1/2 hours from Sacramento and 4 hours from the San Francisco Bay Area, Graeagle is perfectly located to minimize your travel and maximize your vacation time.
There is something for everyone in Plumas County. Regardless of Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter; there is always something to do. If you enjoy golf, this home is surrounded by the beautiful Plumas Pines Golf Resort and five other championship golf courses are within easy driving distance. Walk down to the Feather River to fish or swim, or head out to the nearby Gold Lakes basin for spectacular hiking, fishing, swimming and boating.
Hiking trails, fishing, kayaking, snowmobile rides, sledding, skiing, floating the Feather River, brewery, dining, and shopping. We are walking distance to Feather River and approximately 4 miles to Johnsville ski area (back country skiing, snowboarding, sledding). Great for families, reunions, golfers, retreats, and relaxing getaways
Be sure to visit The Brewing Lair just outside of Blairsden, a micro-brewery with facilities for grilling, relaxing and socializing.
There are also many fine restaurants in the area offering cuisine in a variety of different settings. You will find everything from burgers and fries outdoors to casual country to fine dining equivalent to what you would expect in a major city.

Great place to stay!

Our family had a wonderful time. The house is pretty well stocked with what you need. Beds are a little squeaky but not too bad. Overhead fans in every room helped with the heat. Would definitely stay there again.

Graeagle House

This is a nice property, clean, spacious, and met all of our needs. The house was perfect for our two families of 4. The Lakes Basin Rec area and surrounding area was beautiful. We would stay here again.

Wonderful setting & family event compound

Our 3 related couples enjoyed the spacious layout and large deck. Because we were gone most days and early eveningsnfor reunion events we didn't use the geill, firepit or garage game room, but was perfect for our meal prep and morning coffees.

Great Stay

Garrett was phenomenal at communicating. The location was perfect. Some of the household items were a smidge over used (bbq, knives, etc) but nothing to hinder the stay. Overall, I’d recommend.

Golf Trip 2023

Our party included 6 golfers for three nights. We had a great time and the house was just right for us. Perfectly located for our golf courses and the house had all the amenities we needed.

Golf getaway

My group has gone to golf Graeagle courses for years.. this house was perfect for our group, the main room is much larger then the pictures .. and pool table, deck were awesome ,,, the house is has everything you need,, communication with the owner was an ease, he was quick to respond to questions. 👍👍👍👍

Hot time at Plumas

The home was very nice. It was extremely hot, high 90's, during out stay and no AC but with the overhead fans and shade trees the house was not uncomfortable. We were 4 senior golfers so were gone most of the day. I have rented a number of vrbo homes and the kitchen of this home was the most well stocked. We like to cook also so the utensils were well used. We also enjoyed cocktail hour on the back deck.

Great Property

Four guys in our 50's stayed at the property for a weekend of golf. It's great to have four separate bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals at the house. We made breakfast each morning, but ate at several of the great local eateries. The local people are super friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings and looking at the stars. I plan on returning when time and opportunity present.

It was fine. Lots of webs and bugs in all windows outside and above the front door. . Dead rose bushes out front. The washing machine top is broken and crashes closed. Won’t stay open on its own. Will definitely hurt someone eventually. Can’t put clothes in dryer unless you hold it open with one hand and move clothes with the other. Overall a fine stay.

Family Retreat for Christmas

Surrounded by soothing scenery, scent of forest trees, glimpses of wild turkeys and songbirds—that’s our stay at Wander Inn! Come inside to warm up around the fire, cook food in the spacious well-stocked kitchen, sit down to a Christmas dinner table set with water glasses and white china (provided). The kids would say playing table tennis was the best, or skipping stones at the River. The main living area is even more spacious than we had expected just going by pictures. There are very close neighbors but they were friendly and respectful of the vacation rentals in the area, if not guests themselves. The yard is quite small but the neighborhood was very quiet. The only noise was from our own group, wild turkeys gobbling, the wind in the pines, and an occasional dog barking. We enjoyed the rare privilege of seeing a large flock of evening grosbeaks, and a white headed woodpecker. This lovely mountain home gives you a lot for the price.

Hi we had a great time. The accommodations were great. Kitchen and appliances well stocked. House and rooms were clean and neat. The only thing that needs improvement is the TV set up. The Roku doesn't allow the users to access their own accounts and sign on to apps such as Direct TV. Our group are very big sports fans and were unable to access any live action such as football or baseball playoffs. Direct TV would be a good perk for visitors and most visitors kind of expect these features now a days and probably wouldn't mind the extra minimal cost. Otherwise we love the place.

Really great home! The large open concept kitchen/living area is great for everyone to feel relaxed.The bedrooms are very nice with two on each side of the living area and a bathroom in between each bedroom. A third bathroom was a real plus for a full house. The outdoor area is very large, with room for hammocks, badminton and other outside activity.The large deck allows a large group to spread out comfortably.The kitchen is well stocked with necessary items. We were there with temperatures in the mid-80's and the house was perfectly cool with screen doors and ceiling fans. The many trees in the back provide shade for backyard activity. The appliances are all very nice and functioned perfectly. Furniture was all very comfortable and spacious. Large dining table and stools at the counter were great.Outdoor seating was plentiful and allowed a large gathering plenty of space to spread out if needed. Parking was nice with the double drive-through driveway.We appreciate the "no pet" policy A real plus was the neighborhood. This is a fantastic community with homes on large lots. The house is located on a very quiet street. Access to the river is just a few minutes walk or you can drive to a small parking area.The Graeagle area is full of places to explore. This house delivers the beauty of the outdoors right in front of you.We stayed five nights and enjoyed every minute.

We were attending a family wedding at Twenty Mile house in Cromberg. Location was perfect as it was a short drive away. Beautiful area with lots of places and activities to explore. Unfortunately we had a medical emergency that entailed a late night visit to the emergency room in Portola only about 15 -20 minutes away. The patient received excellent care and things with a happy ending for our visit.

The home was clean and laid out well for our 4 night stay. 4 male adults. Plenty of space and outdoor deck was excellent. The outdoor propane BBQ is old and one burner works intermittently suggest an upgrade. Overall everyone enjoyed the stay immensely.

Snow and Ski trip

We enjoyed staying in Graeagle. It is such a special area! We spent a day at Sugarbowl and a day snow tubing at Johnsonville ski lodge. We also enjoyed walks in the neighborhood. Came back to the property with everything we needed. We are a family of four and more than enough space… huge house and perfect layout.

Wander Inn

Fantastic

This was our second year in a row and we’ve already booked for next Labor Day weekend as well. This house is the perfect compliment to overflow Visiting family, our own Graegle home cannot accommodate. This home is very comfortable/perfectly furnished. Cannot think of One thing that would improve this property.

Great Experience

Property was just as described. Very clean and comfortable atmosphere. The large kitchen layout provided plenty of counter space. The stove/range was a little temperamental at times, which made for some cooking delays, but other than that; looking forward to staying here next year with additional family members.

Great place for a quiet stay!

We booked this spot to attend a wedding in the area. We've been to Graeagle/Blairsden numerous times and love the area. This particular house is great for a semi-large group. There were 8 of us in total, 4 adults and 4 kids and although one of them opted to sleep on the floor, everyone was comfortable. The check-in was super easy as was the check-out. The home is well-appointed and VERY clean. There are plenty of games to keep kids and adults occupied such as ping-pong, croquet, cards, board games, a frisbee game etc. The home is well appointed with regards to coffee maker, iron, laundry TVs, etc. My only gripes about the property have to do with lighting. Of the half dozen (or so) bedside lamps, only 3 of them worked. One was missing the knob to turn on and off and the others either had bad bulbs or something else was awry. Beyond that, and this is getting super picky, is that the lighting throughout the home is really bad in the sense that it's too bright and you feel like you need sunglasses. A dimmer would fix it. Other than the lighting issues, I would recommend this property and I'm probably going to stay there again for a mountain bike/golf trip with my buddies later this year. Thanks!

Beautiful, cozy Plumas Pines home

We stayed with a group of friends for 3 nights and had a fantastic stay! The home is well cared for well appointed. The main room is great for groups, spacious and open. We had everything we needed in the kitchen for meal preparation and we loved the back deck and outdoor space. Great proximity to multiple golf courses, the river and the cute Graeagle downtown. We will definitely be back!
