House was very clean and updated and in a convenient area located on a pretty golf course in a quiet neighborhood . It was very comfortable. Sonya was very responsive to any of our questions and a pleasure to work with.
I stayed at this property in 2024 and again in 2025, the listing details are not quite accurate in that the interior has had updates and remodeling but the photos on the VRBO listing are old and do not reflect any updates. I'm not criticizing the house because the updates are attractive, however the listing information needs to reflect what is there. So the house is good but the lake outside needs maintenance badly! The lake front and shorelines are full of overgrown tulles, willow trees and bushes. In some locations you cannot see the lake. The water is barely visible through the thick algae and lake weeds. The lawns and landscaping around the whole complex of homes have been let go and are not being watered. The lawns look dead and dying, the vegetation is bone dry. I am sure this is not an individual homeowner issue as much as it is an HOA issue. But the homeowners need the HOA to take action soon otherwise this complex will not be a desirable location as a rental property. All that being said I would rent here again under the assumption that the surrounding landscaping and lake conditions will improve.
Wonderful host, quick responses to all questions. The home was clean, comfortable and so roomy! We were in town for a wedding at Twenty Mile House, only a short drive away. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing stay in a quiet community.
A very nice vacation rental, clean, updated, great setting for a family or friends stay. The only negative is that the TV's do not have network service. No local or network programming, nonews, sports, weather. Streaming things like Netflix, Hulu only!
It was a perfect condo. Perfect location for us. Sonya was so quick to respond to all of my questions before getting to her place. At her place we had no issues at all. Wonderful neighbors as well.
Sonya’s property was everything as listed and great for a family of 6 with boys age range 2 to 11. Snow all around during this time of year (Dec 27-29). Would return!
house was perfect. There were some concerns for next guests. need extra plates, spoons in silverware drawer, hot pads (only one) dish towels and or rags. Should let cleaning people know to empty the ice container as it gets old , fill soap containers and be sure to mop the kitchen floors.
We loved our stay! This place is right in some water at the golf course and it was wonderful. We had relatives at another unit and being in the water was so wonderful compared to their unit. Place was very spacious and comfortable. Two issues though—first it seemed like we were the first people to visit of the season maybe? Spiderwebs and bugs all over the front door and the house smelled like it had been closed up for a while. Opening the windows freshened it out. The other thing is there were no shower supplies. I’ve never been to a VBRO without at least soap and shampoo. There was nothing. A little hospitality would go a long way considering the cost. Otherwise, nice place to stay with family.
Check the bedroom/bath layout for your particular needs
We enjoyed the condo, however there are a few things to consider to determine if the layout works for your group. There is an ensuite bedroom upstairs, and another bedroom across the hall. However there is no hall bathroom. This didn't work well for our group of 4 (1 couple, 2 single adults). Downstairs is an ensuite bedroom, an extra room being used for a bedroom (right off the front door) with 2 beds that wouldn't fit more than one small person each. The hall bath is small and unfortunately the tub/shower wasn't designed for easy access. The tub is too tall to safely step into, no grab bars or non-slip mat in the tub. So for our party, one of the single people had to access a shower in one of the ensuite bedrooms. If you have all family, kids, etc it probably wouldn't be a concern to share.
We cooked in one night and found the kitchen to be disorganized and lacking some of the basic items we needed. If you aren't cooking in it probably wouldn't be a problem.
Loved the back deck and the peaceful view. However, we had to clean the table/chairs and sweep the deck. Lots of bird poop on the deck and slider glass and it looked like it hadn't been washed down in a while. However, we still enjoyed the use of the deck
Property manager was timely in responding to a couple of questions we had.
