In the fishing village Greetsiel invite you to our generous, exclusive thatched house 'Keno tom Brook' in a quiet residential area - about 10 minutes away from the romantic town center and picturesque harbor.
Built in 2011, detached holiday home provides for up to 5 people plenty of space (100 square meters) and is perfect for a relaxing holiday. The large open plan living / dining area, the light-filled gallery and two bedrooms and two more comfortable sleeping options (sofa bed) offer plenty of space. Two bathrooms let the day without stress and hectic start.
Our perfectly equipped kitchen includes: ceramic hob, large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, microwave, egg cooker, blender, coffee maker and Senseo coffee pad machine, etc. - the equipment leaves on holiday nothing to be desired.
The peaceful location, comfortable furnishings, fireplace and infrared sauna make the house an oasis. After a wellness program in the infrared sauna with light therapy, you can z. B. on the huge gallery relax and then finish the evening in a relaxing atmosphere in front of the burning fireplace.
Free WiFi is available. But for your entertainment is provided. In addition to two HD TVs, DVD and CD player, SD and i-Podstation are also some books and a stereo system available and can even in bad weather boredom.
Here they lack nothing. Of course you are also a washer and dryer. Mosquito nets to ensure that uninvited guests stay outside. Your bicycles can be accommodated in our bike shed.

Für Familientreffen ideal

Wir waren sieben Tage in Greetsiel, obwohl wir auf eine der Inseln fahren wollten. Dann riet uns unser Sohn, nach Greetsiel zu fahren. Das war eine sehr gute Anregung. Die Unterkunft war perfekt für unser Familientreffen, denn wir, aus dem tiefsten Oberbayern per Zug anreisend nutzten unsere Ferien für ein familientreffen mit unserem Sohn, Schwiegertochter und Enkel, die in Bremen wohnen. Allen hat das liebevoll ausgestattete, komfortabele Häuschen gut gefallen. Zwei Bäder kamen uns da sehr gelegen. Es gab auch Liegestühle und Gartenmöbel, die wir an schönen Tagen nutzen konnten. Das Häuschen befindet sich in der Peripherie von Greetsiel, d. ,h. 25 min. zu Fuß bis zum Hafen. Wir mieteten uns Fahrräder für 10 (ohne Motor), damit haben wir viele Sehenswürdigkeiten erkundet. Eine Fahrt mit dem Schiff, aber vor allem auch mit dem Tretboot durch die Kanälchen, das war zauberhaft. Essen gab es an allen Ecken und Enden Fisch und auch Lamm. Im Fischkontor und im Fischladen de Beer muss man schon mal vorbeischauen. Ebenso in der Eisdiele am Hafen. Wir waren im Juni hier, das war vom Tourismus noch nicht so überlaufen. Der Humor der Ostfriesen ist erinnerungswürdig, ebenso ihre Liebe zum Rasenmähen. Im Edeka-Bäcker gibt es Salzkrustenbrot, Mann-o-Mann, sooo lecker! Übrigens die Schafe antworten einem, wenn man sie grüßt. Wir haben es ausprobiert. Natürlich haben wir die Ostfriesische Teezeremonie an der Mühle genossen. Ostfriesland ist auch eine lange Anreise wert.

Wir waren jetzt 10 Tage in Greetsiel und haben dort in dem Haus unseren Urlaub verbracht. Es fehlte sich an nichts, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, auch unsere Kinder (9,12). Von dort konnte man prima Fahrradtouren unternehmen, war mit dem Fahrrad sehr schnell im Ortskern und auch Ausflüge mit dem Auto war alles sehr gut zu erreichen. Alles in allem ein prima Urlaub.

Sehr schön gelegenes, freistehendes Haus

Entspannung pur am Rand von Greetsiel, wir waren mehr als begeistert vom Standort, der Einrichtung und der Lage des Hauses. Der Blick auf den Deich lud quasi ein ausgedehnte Wanderungen zB Pilsumer Leuchtturm zu unternehmen. Aber auch das umliegende Land ist spannend zu erkunden. Das einchecken bzw die Übergabe der Schlüssel und das entrichten der Kurtaxe beim Nachbarn verliefen ebenfalls reibungslos. Einkäufe lassen sich unproblematisch zu Fuß beim ca 1,2 Km entfernten Discounter erledigen. Ergo, wer Entspannung und Entschleunigung sucht ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Gerne wieder

Wir haben uns im Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Leider hatten wir die Mückenzeit , weswegen uns der Aufenthalt auf der Terrasse bei dem schönen Wetter nicht möglich war. Gut war , das die Fenster über Insektenschutz verfügt haben, so blieben die Blutsauger draußen.

Sehr schönes alleinstehendes Ferienhaus

Unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus konnten wir (2 Erwachsene, 1-jähriges Kind) vollends genießen. Das alleinstehende Ferienhaus bietet alles was man für einen schönen Urlaub benötigt. Auch den schön und ruhig gelegenen Garten haben wir sehr gerne genutzt. Wenn es uns noch einmal an die Nordsee verschlägt werden wir dieses Haus sehr gerne wieder buchen.

Ein wunderschönes und perfekt ausgestattetes Ferienhaus. Es war alles da was das Herz begehrte, Tip Top in Schuss und super gemütlich und das nicht nur im Haus, sondern auch der Garten nebst Hütte. Sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Wir haben uns im Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt und würden es auch weiterempfehlen. Es hat uns an nicht gemangelt, der Ausblick ins Grüne ist einzigartig und die Lage etwas abseits vom Ort lässt auch in der Hochsaison vergessen, dass man von vielen Touristen umgeben ist. Der Kontakt zur Hausverwaltung war top und alles verlief reibungslos. Gerne wieder.

Erholsamer Urlaub in Greetsiel

Wir haben unseren Urlaub im Ferienhaus Keno tom Brook sehr genossen. Dazu haben v.a. die ruhige Lage und der große, gepflegte Garten beigetragen. Wir haben alles so vorgefunden, wie es beschrieben war. P.S. Eine kurze Anmerkung zur Qualität des Internets, da diese in früheren Bewertungen bemängelt wurde. Das Internet war zu jeder Zeit voll verfügbar und die Geschwindigkeit mehr als ausreichend.

Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen und von der Aufmachung sehr schön. Wer es sehr ruhig mag, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Es ist etwas abgelegen vom Zentrum. Das Inventar ist gut, bei den Betten sollten die Matratzen eaugestauscht werden, diese sind mehr als durchgelegen. Die Sauberkeit bei Einzug sollte besser sein, es war etwas zu deckig. Im Großen und Ganzen, war es okay. Wir hatten aber schon was Besseres.

Ferienhaus mit freundlicher Atmosphäre

Das Ferienhaus befindet sich in sehr ruhiger Lage und bietet auf einer Seite einen weiten Blick in die Landschaft. Die Innenräume sind hell und freundlich und die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen, vor allem die Küche. Die Terrasse fanden wir weniger einladend, da spärlich gestaltet und fast den ganzen Tag im Schatten gelegen. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können das Haus weiterempfehlen.

Im großen und ganzen ein schönes Ferienhaus

Das Ferienhaus ist im großen und ganzen sehr schön. Die Lage ist ok . Leider muss man im Garten sehr aufpassen wenn man Kinder dabei hat da kein Zaun zur Umrandung des Gartens zum Schutz der Pflanzen vorhanden ist. Leider waren wir mit der Sauberkeit nicht so zufrieden wie man es sich wünscht für den Preis . Das W-lan ist leider nicht zu gebrauchen für z.b Streaming oder facetime leider teilweise nicht mal um etwas zu google da es sich nur um eine datenkarte handelt. Man hat aber eine wunderschöne Aussicht und wir hatten z.b auch 3 Hasen zu besuch.
