Such a lovely group to host at Falcon Ridge. Communication was easy. Everyone was respectful of the space and everything was left spotless. We'd gladly host them all again, anytime!
We discovered this property by chance, wandering into a stretch of forest that felt untouched, where time seemed to stand still. We purchased not to exploit it, but to develop it sustainably for our children and future grandchildren.
Falcon Ridge was born from that moment: a carefully planned community where families can build a legacy and forests remain intact. These guest cottages are our invitation to you, to explore this place at your own pace and experience the beauty and serenity that first captured us. We hope you enjoy your stay.
Why they chose this property
We chose Notre-Dame-du-Laus because it is beautifully located, just 90 minutes from Ottawa or 2.5 hours from Montreal, it's an easy drive on a Friday evening to escape. The village's small-town character reminds us of a simpler way of life and offers all of the services you may need, just 8 minutes away. Falcon Ridge sits on Lac des Sables with easy access to Lac Poisson Blanc, renowned for its 100km2 of navigable water and pristine, intact natural landscapes surrounding 80 islands. What sets this area apart is that unlike so many beloved lake communities in Quebec and Ontario that have been transformed by overdevelopment, the protected land surrounding Lac Poisson Blanc ensures that what you see today is what your grandchildren will also see . It's something the more traveled parts of the Laurentians simply can't offer anymore.
What makes this property unique
Falcon Ridge's post and beam guest cottage is newly built, thoughtfully designed, and set within a community still taking shape. But what truly sets it apart is the land it sits on. A private beach on Lac des Sables, access to over 100km2 of navigable water, and protected landscapes that will remain intact for generations together make of this a place one that is increasingly rare to find. This cottage is our invitation to experience it for yourself — at your own pace.
