We had a wonderful time at The Bus Stop. Lisa and Tony are fantastic hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. We loved the peaceful setting and the lovely horses. safe travels and all the best.
The Bus Stop was incredibly cosy and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. It was well equipped and ample space for two people. We loved waking up to the sounds of nature; the birds provided the perfect morning soundtrack. The experience was made even more memorable by the horses especially the cheeky little one lol We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. Thank you Lisa & Tony!
From the outside it looks like a bus, but step inside and it opens into a perfectly formed, cosy and intimate tiny home for two. Thoughtfully designed and beautifully set up, it has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay. The sofa and bed are genuinely comfy, and the little touches really stand out — even a dishwasher and a soundbar, which was a lovely surprise. The deck is a highlight: fire up the barbecue or simply sit back and take in the view while listening to the tūī, kingfishers and bellbirds. Peaceful, private, and incredibly relaxing.A unique and memorable stay — we’d happily come back.

We appreciate the lovely review and also want to say it is a pleasure to be able to share our beautiful surroundings with such lovely and genuine people.
We could not have picked a more perfect place to relax in for our stay. The property is tranquil and private, a perfect location nestled in the valley, and we spent many hours enjoying the view and watching the wildlife while relaxing on the deck. The bus itself is so cleverly converted to give both a spacious and cozy feel, and the attention to detail in décor and design give it a touch of luxury too.The bed was incredibly comfortable, lovely linen and soft pillows. The reclining sofa was great after a day of local walks at the beach and lighthouse, a must do for the incredible views! The kitchen is well appointed with all you could need and a BBQ is on the deck too. The shower was hot and powerful and the natural toiletries were a delightful touch along with thick fluffy towels. Wifi, tv and faux fireplace had all the feels of a well appointed hotel suite and the whole place was spotless inside and out. Our hosts were so welcoming and friendly, they did everything they could to help make our stay comfortable and memorable. We cannot recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be back.
