We loved Snug Stays, it was like home from home. Ebony has put a lot of thought and effort to ensuring her place has everything you made need, right down to the smallest detail. I stayed with my 85 year old Dad who commented very highly about the amenities and provisions, which is very unlike him! He was very pleased with the complimentary wine, fruit and breakfast supplies. An excellent choice for singles, couples and families. A very clean and welcoming space. We would highly recommend staying here. Thanks Ebony for a great stay.

My partner and I are Strahan locals who adore this town—it’s where we choose to raise our daughter and enjoy our own little slice of paradise. We're happy to extend that genuine, local warmth to you when you come to stay at Cosy Pines.

Why they chose this property

Strahan and the West Coast of Tasmania are known for our rugged, untamed wilderness and darkly fascinating history, offering visitors a unique blend of pristine natural beauty and compelling heritage. It is the heart of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area (TWWHA).

What makes this property unique

Welcome to Cosy Pines! Here’s what makes our accommodation unique for your West Coast adventure:

Authentic Local Connection
We are true Strahan locals who host right next door. You’ll receive a warm, personal welcome, easy access to local insights, and caring support throughout your stay—far beyond what you’d find at a large hotel.

Ultimate West Coast Comfort
After a day exploring the rugged wilderness, relax in ultimate comfort. Our highlight is the real log fire (wood supplied!) that fills the open-plan bungalow with warmth. Enjoy electric blankets, a fully equipped kitchen, and all the touches that make it a genuine home.

Peace and Perfect Location
Cosy Pines is tucked away on a quiet street, guaranteeing you wake up to bird song, not traffic. Despite the peace, you are only a 5-7 minute stroll from the Esplanade, the Gordon River cruise terminal, and the heart of Strahan town.
