The entire process from making the reservation to check-out was flawless, first rate.

The property was very clean, great location in a quiet neighbor hood. Everything we needed for a cormfortable stay was provided, The owner took great care in detail in how the house was decorated and furnished, all of our needs were met. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend others to stay as well.

Great location to Salisbury University

Came to Salisbury to watch my daughter play a few soccer games at Salisbury University this past weekend. Location was perfect for our family and friends to hang out while in town to support my daughter. Highly recommend this place and if we need a place in this area in the future, we will be staying here.

House was in a great location for attending graduation events at Salisbury University. Large enough space for immediate family and grandparents. Only negative was that one of the 4 bedrooms was listed as having 2 double beds, instead had one double bed with a twin trundle underneath

Great house for group or family

We loved our stay where we met up with family from two different areas. We had plenty of space, kitchen with everything we needed to cook at home, and were able to drive 45-60 minutes to Ocean City and Chincoteague for day trips. The host was responsive as well.

My husband and I stayed in Salisbury to visit family. We were able to have them over for dinner and a visit at our VRBO rental. The house is perfect. We’re looking forward to another visit in the fall.

The house was lovely and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The kitchen, deck, and master bedroom looked out on the pond, which was neat. The kitchen was well stocked. The place was spotless. We were six adults and there was plenty of room to spread out comfortably. Note that the owners are very energy conscious. There are smart thermostats set at certain temperatures. You can change them but they revert after a while to the default programming. Additionally, the bathrooms all have sensors so the lights go out if you are not moving around enough or are in the shower. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return!

Better than expected

I did not find many listings in or near Salisbury so I naturally assumed that the bar would be low when we got to this house. This rental is in one of the nicer neighborhoods in Salisbury. It's beautiful country, there was a great "lake feel" to the place that made you feel more remote than you actually were. Will stay here again and I would recommend others as well.

Beautiful home and location, loved the pond view from enclosed porch. Was very close to the zoo and family activities, shops and restaurants. If I had to point out a "bad" thing? Something that is not in the control of the owners....the driveway entrance is narrow, and takes some maneuvering, haha. But there is ample street parking, anyway. Enjoyed our stay!

Sibling Reunion was Perfect

My 3 sisters flew in from around the country and we spent a long weekend in this house in the town of our childhood. Being together made for an amazing weekend but the house added to the enjoyment. It was clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and the neighborhood was quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed reconnecting in this beautiful home. I thought the lack of control of the heating/AC temp was going to be an issue, but a text to the local host and it was quickly resolved. Really appreciated her reaching out with her contact before the start of the visit and was quick with responses. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

Beautiful Home/ Serene Surroundings

A beautiful large home within a quiet neighborhood. Enclosed porch allows you to enjoy the beautiful views of the pond. Theater room was fantastic for family movies with screen doors leading to the yard. Plenty of room with 4 bedrooms, two of them have there own bathroom. The community is surrounded by corn and soy farms which adds a sense of tranquility. I could go on and on…. Unfortunately, they are no longer pet friendly and we won’t be returning but I highly recommend this rental.

Great family stay

Had a fantastic 5 day stay with my daughters while in town for USSSA Eastern Nationals Fastpitch tournament... The property is beautiful and spacious and in a nice, small neighborhood... Short drive to OC which we did every night of our stay... Only issues I came across were we were unable to enter the property from the front door for the entirety of our stay due to the lock pad being offline, not a big issue but an inconvenience at times... Also one evening the neighbors across the street had a party, which was not an issue but upon returning to the property that evening all street parking was taken and the driveway was blocked... I had to interrupt a party in an unfamiliar neighborhood(not ideal)to have them move so i could park in the driveway rather than park 5 or 6 houses down and walk in the rain with my daughters... Despite these minor inconveniences we completely enjoyed our stay... The host was attentive and very quick to respond... Would definitely stay again...

Great house, great water view

Stayed 3 weeks in December '23. Perfect location for our needs. Screened porch above Schumaker Pond was serene. We enjoyed watching ducks and geese and listening to the rainfall. It would be even better in warmer weather. Well-kept and clean, well equipped, very responsive local hosts when we had questions and some minor issues. Main and second floors have bedroom/full bath combos, plus two more bedrooms and a third full bath on second floor. Big kitchen with lots of counter space. Powerful Wi-Fi, TVs everywhere. Driveway is a little tricky but manageable. We usually left the car at the top near the street. Easy access to restaurants and stores. We wish we could keep this rental secret, so it's always available for us!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I booked this place in Feb for a May vacation. I booked this place because it allowed pets and the week before my trip Turnkey notified me pets were no longer allowed- the owners changed their policy in April. Days before my trip I contacted Vacasa and they notified me I had to pay over $200 extra. I paid it because I was leaving for this trip in a few days, but VRBO has informed me that they should not have charged me, they needed to honor my original contract- trying to get my money reimbursed has been a nightmare. I will never rent anything with Vacasa or Turnkey again.
