The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Free Rural Refuse Site is located within 5 minute drive at 2315 Eagle Creek Road - please take the garbage and recycling with you when leave.
Make sure the fireplace is completely out and cool — no smoldering wood or ash. Close all windows and doors before you leave.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Any additional guests not included in your itinerary will incur a fee of $50 per person, per night.
If the total number of occupants exceeds the maximum limit of 8, we may end your stay without issuing a refund
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cabin, and a $250 fine will be applied to anyone found violating this rule.

Elena was a terrific host! She was quick to respond to any questions and we really appreciated her reaching out to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Her cabin is well stocked with cozy comforts and it felt like a home away from home. We stayed over the winter holidays and the snowy beauty of Lake Hawkins did not disappoint! We will definitely be coming back to Cariboo!
