We had a great stay. The host was very responsive and helpful. My kids enjoyed playing on the playground that is located right outside the room. The pool is a good size and is shaded by the surrounding trees so the water temperature felt good. There's no beach access during high tide, but it's a short drive down the island to get to a public beach so we didn't mind doing that. Overall great stay and I would book a stay with this host again!

Would stay again.

Unit has been updated nicely and was nice and clean. Owner was very responsive to our contacting him during the stay. Driftwood Beach was amazing. .

Disappointed that we couldnt use the pool. We also thought we would be able to walk out onto beach and into water but large boulder barrier prevents that. Other beaches in driving distance were very nice.Nice area on the island. Comfortable.

Nice fitness room, condo was quaint and small, the oder of the tap water was not the host fault, but its foul in the bathroom. Would not want to sleep more than two people in the space.

Good visit to Jekyll Island

Location was a bit distant from main activities on the island, but very peaceful. Check in was delayed due to late cleaning. The location was very well stocked with everything we needed.

Great little condo

Real close to driftwood beach. Smaller than what I’m use to but big enough for 2. Great air, water was hot bed was comfortable so what more can you ask for. First time at Jekyll island will come back.

Great for a small family!

This is a great condo if you have a couple of little kids! The blue chairs in the listing photos fold out and make great beds for little kids. The playground is also right in front of the condo and the pool is a short walk. My kids had a great time and we will be back!

Very comfortable with helpful owner. Great value vrbo. Close to driftwood beach, but far from most restaurants. Beach erosion prevention on this end of island is a downside (not an issue with us). Would stay again. Thanks

Nice getaway

My wife and I have been visiting the Jekyll/St. Simons area for about 15 years and love it. We have always stayed at hotels on Jekyll and last year, ate at the Driftwood Bistro for the first time. We liked that area and decided to try a condo this time. We liked this much better. This time of year is peaceful also with little crowds. Would definitely stay again.

Great Coastal Gem

What a great place to stay that has everything you need. Close to all beaches including the amazing Driftwood beach, which is a short walk from the place. I have never seen anything like it. Property manager did a great job. The refrigerator neededto be replaced and he handled it quickly. The overall stay was nice. Kitchen appliances were apartment size which was a little difficult to do much cooking. Could have had pot holders, more silverware, etc. Charge of 10 every time you left the island and came back. We purchased an annual pass for 100 as we were there for 14 days.

Great stay and communication

What an awesome little place to stay . It is right next to the beach , playground , with a pool nearby , and a nice dinner place . The place itself was clean and had all the accommodations. Only issue was there were some things that weren’t working but when we communicated the issue the owners got maintenance in there right away and fixed it . We also had a sick baby and lost track of time so we didn’t leave until a little later than we were supposed to , which the owners were very understanding about . All around it was a 10/10 stay and we can’t wait to come back again in the future .

Everything went smoothly with our stay. The small but comfy condo was ready when we arrived and very clean. We had the basics that we needed for our stay and especially appreciated the pet friendly aspects like easy dog walking. The queen bed in the one bedroom was quite comfortable and the pullout sofa in the small living area worked perfectly for our grandson. I should add that he loved the fabulous pizza at Coastal Cucina restaurant that was located right on the property. For those with younger children, there is a playground with a pirate ship right below the door to the unit. The pool was lovely and it was easy to get to beaches, the marsh trail, and other paths for biking around the beautiful island. It was especially fun to ride our bikes to the pier in the Historic District for sunset dining. The host was extremely helpful and accommodating, even going above and beyond by picking up and shipping some late-arriving packages to us after we had returned home. We would be delighted to stay at one of Michael’s properties in the future and have no hesitation in highly recommending him as a host.
