About this property
Open and Airy Warehouse on Loch
Love the warehouse style groove of this ground floor apartment. With its funky north facing outdoor room giving you secure alfresco living, this super spacious apartment has all the room for friends and family to hang out or escape with its fabulous open plan living and dining area, striking Hamptons style kitchen and the sun splashed alfresco room. Facing Munro Street with free parking at the back. An absolute lifestyle location with trendy bars, restaurants, and live music nearby.
The perfect base to discover Melbourne’s north, you’ll immediately love how connected you are to the vibrancy of the area and the transport to go afar. Kick back and relax in front of the smart TV at the end of the day with 2 x 3 seater couches to lounge or out in the industrial style enclave of the secure alfresco room wining, dining and chatting as the sun goes down. The kitchen is incredible with so much bench space and storage, equipped with Westinghouse appliances for you to cook your favourites or heat up something easy for a meal. The bedrooms are big with one king size bed in one of the bedrooms, with the other bedrooms offering queen beds – great for couples or teenage families wanting some space while travelling. The bathrooms are gorgeous with black tapware, timber benchtops and there’s even an adult size bath – there’s even a 2nd separate toilet for ‘just in case.’ Full of comfort, with its reverse cycle air conditioner and natural light, this savvy abode comes with open parking via Loch Street and a rear lane. If you don’t have a car, that’s fine – you have every possible transport option within metres of this urban retreat.
Guests have full access to the apartment using their own front entrance, ensuring no need to have contact with other residents in the building, with parking via the back lane.
Located in Melbourne’s north, Coburg is only 12 kilometres away from the heart of Melbourne. Located in the Merri-bek council, it’s a suburb that is filled with period homes, heritage landmarks and is hallmarked to be part of one of Melbourne’s Activity Centres, due to its dynamic culture, public transport accessibility, and closeness to universities and hospitals. Coburg is home to one of the last drive-in movie theatres in Australia. For those who love a bit of true crime, you can have a first hand experience walking around the bluestone walls of Pentridge Prison with their daily tours. After the tour, you can enjoy the many wine bars, breweries, restaurants and even escape to the Palace Cinema for some light-hearted escapism or catch up with friends. Walk along Sydney Road and be in awe of the diverse range of bakeries, cafes, international grocers, and restaurants on offer. There’s some hidden arcades including Walker’s Arcade and Foleys Mall, plus the Coburg Market. Indulge in a day of massage or beauty in the many salons and wellness centres in the area. Alternatively, catch the tram down Sydney Road to neighbouring Brunswick for a bustling night life of live music from jazz to rock, comedy or bar hop between some fancy wine bars. For children, families can enjoy the walking and cycling trails along the Maribyrnong River to the west, Merri Creek to the east or along the railway. Take the train to the Royal Melbourne Zoo, the tram to Melbourne Museum or the IMAX Cinema, or try some art at the Schoolhouse Studios in central Coburg or head to the Coburg Library to entertain them with some free activities including storytime, Woi-Wurrung storytime, Lego Builders and the Curiosity Crew. Try Social Fair with its indoor playcentre with its rock climbing walls and adventure play, and happy hour for the parents. Best of all, there’s a playground across the road, if you need to get them to burn some energy. For cyclists, Coburg is the home to the oldest cycling clubs in Australia, with their own velodrome in Charles Street.
