About this property

Nashville getaway: rooftop hot tub, elevator, sleeps 12, near downtown

Summary:

Book Going Up on VRBO for your next Nashville trip: a four-story townhouse with a private rooftop hot tub, skyline views, and an elevator that makes hauling a crowd upstairs easy.

• Sleeps 12 across 4 bedrooms and 10 beds

• 4.5 bathrooms

• Private rooftop hot tub with skyline views

• Elevator access across all four floors

• Rooftop gas grill and dining area

• Balcony access off the upstairs hallway

The Space:

Going Up is a four-story Nashville townhouse where the whole trip builds toward one thing: a private rooftop with a hot tub, a gas grill, and a skyline view that looks just as good at sunset as it does once the city lights come on. Booking this VRBO listing gets your whole group under one roof with room to spread out, rather than splitting between hotel rooms.

An elevator runs the full height of the house, so hauling a stroller, a cooler, or grandma's suitcase up to the rooftop is never a chore. Four bedrooms sit across three upper floors, giving families or a bridal party their own space while everyone still shares one kitchen and living room.

A glass door off the upstairs hallway opens onto a balcony, and one of the bedrooms features a canopy king bed with accent wallpaper and hardwood floors for a photo-worthy backdrop. Spend the day out exploring Nashville, come back for a grilled dinner on the rooftop at sunset, soak in the hot tub once the skyline lights up, then head down to the sectional for a movie before bed.

AMENITIES FOR THE PERFECT STAY

• Private rooftop deck with hot tub and skyline views, day or night

• Rooftop gas grill and dining table

• Lounge seating and artificial turf on the rooftop

• Balcony access off the upstairs hallway

• Elevator serving all four floors

• Canopy king bedroom with accent wallpaper and hardwood floors

• Open-concept kitchen with island seating

• Living room with sectional sofa

• In-unit washer and dryer

• Smart lock keyless entry

BEDROOM LAYOUT

Four bedrooms spread across three upper floors mean multiple families or a group of friends can each claim their own space, while the bunk room keeps kids or a larger crew together.

• 2nd floor: 1 bedroom with two triple bunk frames, 6 single/twin beds total

• 3rd floor: 1 bedroom with 2 king beds (bunk-style frame)

• 3rd floor: 1 bedroom with 1 queen bed

• 4th floor: 1 bedroom with 1 king bed, canopy frame with accent wallpaper and hardwood floors Going Up works well for family reunions, multi-family trips, or a group of friends who want a rooftop of their own rather than a shared hotel pool deck. It's not built for parties or gatherings with guests outside the registered group. Rooftop hot tub townhouses this close to downtown Nashville book up fast for weekend and family trips, reserve your dates while they're open

Guest Access:

Self check-in is quick and easy with a smart lock, so your group is straight up to the rooftop without waiting on anyone.

Property as described. Very clean and comfortable. Disappointed the elevator was not operable, but the property manager had alerted us to this prior to our arrival so we were prepared. All in all it was a great stay.

Hey Pam, the fact that everything felt clean and comfortable is exactly what we aim for. I'm grateful you still gave us 5 stars even though the elevator was out of service during your stay. We made sure to send that alert so you wouldn't be caught off guard, and I'm looking into the repair timeline to get it running again. We'd love to have you back soon. Thanks, Steve from Misfit Homes

While the space is beautifully decorated and very cool, there were several critical issues with the space that kept it from a luxury experience. The kitchen lacks in basic utensils and cooking tools. The grill area was not cleaned and was left dirty from previous use and without propane. There was an active wasps nest in the kitchen window, and they would join you on the balconies. There was bags and bags of trash left out front due to the previous guests. There is no sidewalk to the front door, so you have to walk through a muddy yard to get into the house. Several furniture broken including dining chairs, don’t move the furniture because it is not cleaned underneath. They leave instructions not to use white towels for makeup but don’t provide any alternatives.

Hey Natalie, that wasp nest on the kitchen window sounds like a stressful discovery and certainly not the experience you should’ve had. I’m looking into why the trash and the grill weren’t cleared properly before your arrival. The yard is actually slated for a stone path soon to avoid that mud during the rainy season. I've noted the missing kitchen tools and the furniture issues so my team can address them immediately. Thanks, Steve from Misfit Homes

We had a great trip. The place was clean and had plenty of room for everyone. Our only complaint was the elevator was not working, which was very inconvenient since it was one of the main reasons we chose this property. We had trip members who struggle getting up and down stairs. The location provided quick and easy access to downtown Nashville. We would stay there again when visiting Nashville with a group.

Hey Shelby, that short walk into downtown Nashville is exactly why people love this spot for group trips. I’m sorry about the elevator being out of service while you were there, especially with guests who needed it to get around. We’ve been looking into what caused the breakdown so it doesn’t happen again. Thanks, Steve from Misfit Homes
