The house was great and the beds were really comfortable, the grounds were beautiful especially the white birch i loved. The patio lights were nice too. My problem was with the outdoor seating, we were 2 couples and there was only two chairs on the balcony and only two chairs at the fire pit, so we really were unable to have a fire.

Thank you very much for your suggestions and thoughtful feedback. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage and really appreciated how kind, helpful, and responsive the owners were. They answered our questions very quickly, and it’s clear they genuinely care about their property and guests. As new hosts, they have created a very clean, spacious property with tremendous potential! We stayed for a family reunion and loved the house, grounds, and especially the fun game room in the lower level. One challenge was that only four guests can currently stay overnight because there are two queen beds. Given the size of the house and grounds, we see a wonderful opportunity to accommodate larger groups with additions such as pullout sofas or even designated tent space. This would be especially valuable for families wanting to stay together.A few other small improvements could make an already great property even better: additional comfortable seating around the firepit, a propane fireplace near the Nordic hot tub seating area, and more attention to keeping the hot tub water clean and inviting. The lower level also has a second bathroom area with a washer/dryer, but only one toilet is currently available in the house. These are meant as opportunities, not complaints. The property is beautiful, clean, and has so much potential to provide an exceptional guest experience. With a few thoughtful additions, we think the owners could create something truly special. We wish them every success!
