Head into Tahoe for some snow sports during the day, and return home to a nice Hot Tub or Steam Sauna before letting the river's gentle sounds usher you off to sleep. Beautiful location!!! We had 6 adults and two dogs. The house is spacious and well appointed. This rental is the best equipped house I have rented on VRBO. Plenty of supplies, never ran out of anything.My only suggestions would be to add a safety bar to the guest bathroom for getting in and out of the tub and redo the front steps. I am 70 years old and the front steps are at a slant and I had difficulty climbing them. The tub has a tiled surround which makes it a wide step to get into it, and a safety bar to hang onto would have been very helpful.Dog owners should be aware that the propery is in a rural area with lots of stickers and burrs. Long haired dogs will need to be brushed daily, so bring your supplies.

We really enjoyed the property. We were only there for two nights so we really didn’t have time to use all the amenities. My favorite feature of the house was the back deck. It was so relaxing to be surrounded by nature. The sound of birds and the creek were awesome. We had beautiful weather during our stay so the umbrellas on the deck were great to have. I really wished we could have stayed 4 nights so we could have used the hot tub and game room. Next time!

This property and home are indeed breathtaking. We got to enjoy the gorgeous river on our first couple of days, as well as the cozy fireplace and hot tub when it was cold and rainy the next few days. Falling asleep to the sound of the river was magical. Taking walks, looking at river rocks, doing puzzles in the dining room, and reading by the fire - it was an incredibly relaxing 5 days. We hope to return.

We had such a great stay at this beautiful cabin! The setting right on the river was absolutely perfect—peaceful, relaxing, and a great place to explore. You can even hear the river at night from inside the house, which made it feel so calm and serene.The cabin itself was clean, comfortable, and very well taken care of. The hot tub was spotless (honestly the first place we’ve rented before with a clean maintained hot tub!), and the shower sauna was an added bonus that made the stay feel extra special.They truly have everything you could need already at the house, just bring your food and you’re set, which made everything so easy and stress-free. There was also plenty to do, with a ping pong table and pool table that kept everyone entertained.My sons had a great time exploring along the river, even though they didn’t catch any fish, they still had a blast being outdoors and enjoying the space.Overall, this was a wonderful getaway and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had an incredible stay at this hidden gem on the Cosumnes River. If you are traveling with a dog and love nature, look no further. The property is sprawling, peaceful, and absolutely teeming with wildlife. We spent our mornings sipping coffee on the deck, completely mesmerized by the bird watching from the hot tub. This home felt like a boutique luxury hotel, but with the total privacy of a riverside retreat. The place was super clean, beds were comfy and it came stocked with various first aid needs, cooking supplies and a few condiments in the fridge. Sleeping with the windows open, let us enjoy nature's "white noise" of the rushing river and wind through the tree tops. Truly unforgettable.
