The Deep Creek entrance to the GSMNP is just an 8-minute drive away, offering beautiful hiking trails, waterfalls, and seasonal tubing. Outdoor lovers will also appreciate the cabin’s close proximity to both the Nantahala excursions and Cherokee’s popular attractions, including Mingo & Soco Falls, Oconaluftee Island Park, and Harrah’s Casino, all within a convenient 25-minute drive. Whether you're seeking a quiet hideaway or planning days full of exploration, Sasquatch Hideaway places you right in the heart of adventure while still feeling worlds away.

Access Road:
4x4 Vehicle suggested Access: Loose Gravel on a Steep incline and/or sharp steep Switchbacks, possible deep ruts requiring higher ground clearance. Most Cars will not make it up the mountain road without bottoming or spinning out.

Exterior:
As you arrive, you’ll be greeted by spectacular long-range mountain views stretching across the horizon. A parking area for up to two vehicles sits just steps from the cabin entrance, making unloading luggage and groceries simple. The spacious deck is where this cabin truly shines. Floor-to-ceiling views span the entire back of the home, giving you front-row seats to sunsets over the Smoky Mountain top views, passing wildlife, and breathtaking nighttime skies. Rocking chairs provide the perfect spot for morning coffee, while the bubbling hot tub invites you to relax under a canopy of stars after a day of searching the smoky mountains for the cabin's namesake. The surrounding wooded landscape offers excellent privacy and a quiet, serene atmosphere that is ideal for guests traveling with dogs, who will love the fresh mountain air and space too.
