Cute cottage, 500mtrs to lake front and Church of the Good Shepherd!

New listing
Great location overlooking reserve land, views out to mountains.
A short track takes you directly to the lake front, Church of the Good Shepherd and Sheepdog Memorial statue.
Walk 500mtrs to the iconic bridge across to the cafes and restaurants and all the attractions of Lake Tekapo.
Our recently renovated cottage is clean, bright, cosy and has lots of character. With a deck directly off the living area you can relax and use our BBQ.
A bonus is a new log burner in the living area.
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped, the bathroom is spacious with a shower over the bath and a washing machine.
Plenty of land in front of the house to park cars, boats etc if required.
3 bedrooms - Two rooms have a queen bed and one bedroom has 2 single beds.
NOTE - the 3rd bedroom with 2 single beds is accessed through the 2nd bedroom with a queen bed, perfect for families.

Wonderful cosy cottage, close to Church of the Good Shepherd at Lake Tekapo. The cottage was beautifully decorated and very comfortable, we especially loved the deck and garden. Thanks for a great stay 🙂

Tekapo is beautiful but gett crowded.. the cottage was very cute comfortable and clean. All amenities were very good and the beds / linen was very comfortable. The main rd gives off a bit of noise but you are so close to town. Beautiful bach ! Thankful Mark

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. Communication with our host, Paula, was great. She was always quick to reply provided helpful information. The cottage is very close to restaurants and shops so we could walk to these amenities. The cottage was very clean and tidy upon our arrival. We could stargaze from the back deck and we loved the fleece blankets that were provided for this purpose. Overall, a great place to stay.

Room is ok for the price and location. Really strong chemical odor in the room. Must be newly renovated. Makes one feel quite uncomfortably for the smell. Maybe should wait for a couple weeks to ease the odor before renting out.
