Falcon's Rest is a perfect spot to unwind. Special rates for long stay.

This vacation property is over 1100Sq ft complete with all the amenities of home. On the main floor there is a spacious living room with fireplace and TV, separate dining area with table and four chairs, full kitchen with eating bar and stools for convenience. The master bedroom has a king bed,and main bathroom is four piece.The washer and dryer is on the main floor. The second bedroom has twin beds.The back deck is large with BBQ and large table and chairs for your evening enjoyment. The front deck is small with two chairs and table. Upstairs there is a queen bed and full bathroom. Every room is supplied with fans. An outside shed gives space for golf clubs or bikes. Here you will find children's sand toys and pool accessories. Parking is provided in the driveway and in front of the lot. Visitor Parking is steps away. Internet is provided. Pool, hot tub and gym are on site in the resort.
Rathtrevor Beach is a short walk away.....a provincial Park with huge tidal beach and picnic areas. Mini golf for children is on site. Parksville is a short drive away with grocery stores, restaurants,
pubs, gift shops, book stores, etc.
Coombs is a delightful place to visit....20 minutes by car to Goats on the Roof! Englishman River is a short drive for a beautiful forested walk. The north island Recovery Centre is well worth a visit to see the animals which have been rescued.

The house was great, clean and nice layout. Has a big deck with a BBQ (didn't get the chance to use). Its a quiet area. There is an indoor pool. Less than 10 minutes drive to Rathtrevor beach. Instructions from our host (Pat and Gene) where clear. The kitchen was well setup, had everything we needed for cooking meals. Would recommend this place.

Or stay at Falcons rest was OK. The house was clean & organized. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated that the kitchen was fully stocked. The downsides: We showed up 15 mins early for check-in and didn’t realize the code was on a timer for a precisely 4 PM. I texted 3 hrs prior that we would be a little early as we got an earlier ferry. No response. When we texted & called when we couldn’t get in. No response. Then later came the explanation that it was on a 4 PM timer. The coaches sent to the ground, practically and prob should be replaced. Lastly, we had brought the umbrella out from the shed. We did this primarily because we wanted privacy on the back deck. They have a camera on the front and back. I understand a camera being on your front door, but I find it creepy to have cameras looking out on your deck. Maybe an explanation that it’s there just to check the door when nobody is renting. But I just felt uncomfortable. And to prove my suspicions of being watched. The umbrella was left up one afternoon. I was home all day, under the weather. I was watching it for wind reaction and it was fine. I got busy doing something & 30 mins later, I noticed it had somehow been taken down and leaned against the ground. My Hubs said he didn’t do it. So it was clear they called someone to come on the property “unannounced” to deal with a situation I had under control. They should’ve just reached out to us. Maybe show your guests more respect in the future.

We are sorry for any inconvenience, Are locks are on timers and they allow entry at 3:45pm the start of your stay. Also, we have NO cameras on our property as they are not allowed by the bylaws. Gene and Pat
