We stayed at donna's place for the second year in a row, but unfortunately, this visit did not meet the standard of our first stay, and we would not return. The kitchen was quite disorganized, and some dishes needed to be washed before use. We also found dust under the couch, stains on the sheets and towels that were greying stained and frayed. On a positive note, plenty of towels were provided. After our stay, Breakaway Vacations attempted to charge and additional 500 cleaning fee on top of the 295 cleaning fee, claiming that we had brought a dog onto the property and left it in poor condition. We did not have a dog with us and have a receipt confirming that our Labrador was boarded during our stay. There was many dogs staying in the Tanglwood complex including in the unit next to us. Unfortunately, we found the staff's communication regarding this matter to be accusatory and rude, which made the situation even more disappointing. Before leaving, we organized the laundry, tidied the beds, started the dishwasher and took out the garbage and recycling. We also tried to vacuum the sand from the entryway, but the vacuum does not work. We treat properties we rent with the outmost respect as we are vacation rental property owners our selves. We hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guest.
