Spend your days swimming, boating, or simply relaxing on the dock, with space to tie up your own boat or arrange a nearby rental. In the evenings, unwind on the screened-in porch, listening to the sounds of the lake while staying comfortably bug-free.

Inside, the cottage is cozy, clean, and thoughtfully equipped. Prepare meals in the full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, then settle in for a movie night on the 60” Samsung TV with Bell Fibre TV, and internet. Staying connected is easy, whether you’re streaming, working remotely, or planning the next day’s adventures.

After a day outdoors, enjoy a long soak in the deep soaker tub or relax in air-conditioned comfort. The cottage is serviced by well water and septic, offering an authentic lakeside experience while still providing modern conveniences.

Though the setting feels peaceful and private, the city of North Bay is just a 30-minute drive away for dining, shopping, and essentials. This is a place to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the best of Northern Ontario cottage life without giving up comfort or connectivity.

My experience with the hosts was wonderful. They were easy to communicate with, answered all of my questions quickly, and friendly and welcoming. The property itself was beautiful. It had a cottage feel with all of the modern conveniences. The view out over the water was stunning as the sun rose or set. I got to see different wildlife including a friendly hummingbird, loons and a great blue heron. One of my favourite activities was to read on the deck, enjoying the view each time I looked up. Even though there are other cottages nearby it always felt privateInside the cottage it was incredibly comfortable. Beds where in excellent shape and provided a good night's sleep. The linens were soft and there were plenty of towels provided. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything I needed including dishes, pots, pans, mixing bowls and a spice cupboard. The wifi was strong and reliable, and the TV with streaming was perfect to watch on those rainy days. We also were able to adjust the air conditioning to suit our personal preferences so we were always very comfortable. I think what really made our trip special was how it was clear how our hosts clearly cared about our experience. There were little touches around that showed how much thought they put into their property. Things like a guest book to sign and water waiting for us in the fridge (which we very much appreciated when we arrived) Honestly, this trip was wonderful and we can not recommend this property enough.

Why they chose this property

Welcome to one of Northern Ontario's most treasured freshwater lakes.

Lake Nipissing stretches more than 65 kilometres (40 miles) from east to west and boasts over 900 kilometres of shoreline. Renowned for its spectacular sunsets, exceptional fishing, countless islands and sheltered bays, it offers
visitors a true Northern Ontario cottage experience.

Located on the lake's southern shoreline, Fish Bay provides a peaceful setting away from the busier boating areas. Surrounded by mature pine forests, rocky shorelines and abundant wildlife, the bay is ideal for relaxing, or simply enjoying the view from the dock.

One of the highlights of staying here is experiencing the incredible sunsets over the lake. As evening approaches, the sky often fills with brilliant shades of orange, pink and gold, reflecting across the calm water to create unforgettable views.

Lake Nipissing is one of Ontario's premier fishing destinations and is well known for Walleye (Pickerel), Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Muskie, Yellow Perch and Panfish.
Wildlife is abundant throughout Fish Bay. Keep an eye out for Common Loons, Bald Eagles, Osprey, Great Blue
Herons, White-tailed Deer, Beavers and, if you're lucky, playful river otters.

Whether you're here for adventure or quiet relaxation, we hope you'll discover the same natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere that made us fall in love with this special place.
