About this property

Traditional Cortona house, an old and perfectly restored with all the finest materials of Tuscany. Furniture and furnishings, fittings and class, modern facilities. Our house offers a low floor with living room and a small kitchenette, a first floor accessible with beautiful old stone stairs, with a large double bed, a fireplace and a wonderful view of the surrounding valley. Super toiletries, a large shower with a waterfall and fine ceramic from Vietri.

So charming!

Ilaria was a generous host and had all the accommodations needed for a wonderful stay! Her little abode is a medieval dream. We were taken back in time. Cortona is one of my favorite towns and it was lovely being on the city wall for a quiet sleep

Quirky and Cute!

I enjoyed my stay in the heart of Cortona. I was able to walk all around the city center. The house was super cute with all the Tuscan elements you could want. The view from the upstairs window is incredible. Ilaria was communicative from the time I booked. I did have issues opening the front door but Ilaria made sure to call a friend right away. The door is old and adds to the quirk of this cute place!

"Casa Mia", un hébergement avec tout le confort de 2020 dans une véritable cité médiévale

Nous avons passé 15 très beaux jours à Cortona cette cité réellement médiévale dont la "Casa Mia" est construite sur les remparts étrusques datant de près de 3000 ans ! Expérience unique ! Et à l'intérieur, tout le confort moderne, une maison tempérée malgré la canicule que nous avons subie à ce moment, avec, de la chambre, une vue splendide sur le Val de Chaiana 400 m plus bas, vue dont nous ne nous sommes pas lassés durant ces 2 semaines! Des voisins agréables ! Véritablement une belle expérience. La maison est à 5 minutes à pied du centre de Cortona où seules quelques voitures d'habitants locaux sont autorisées : un vrai voyage dans le temps ! Merci pour tout Ilaria , c'était génial !

Sweet Tuscan Gem in dreamlike Cortona

Where to begin? This is a very unique mix of beautiful original Tuscan elements and modern comfort. First, our welcome from Ilaria was sweet. She efficiently imparts information about the property and the town to insure that we will maximize our comfort and ease. She even taught me the secret method of how to make perfect espresso the Italian way with the well worn caffe pot in the kitchen. That in itself was worth the cost of the unit. She clearly LOVES her family holiday home and wants us to love it too. She left a generous basket of traditional foods and extras to get us started. All of which we consumed. The flat has many books, guides, brochures, restaurant and local highlights information. The location could not possibly be better and the view from the windows is like out of a storybook. We were a short very pleasant walk to everything. This town has so many restaurants, shops, historic and cultural resources it is a total dreamlike fantasy. The upstairs open master suite and adjacent very modern and attractive bathroom make for a comfortable rest with very comfortable bed and linens...and that view!!! We could not have been happier and Ilaria is a wonderful willing help with everything. You can book this property with complete confidence and know that you will have an exceptional experience. Five stars.
