Set on 5 serene acres in the heart of Dripping Springs, House of the Rising Sun offers the perfect blend of hill country charm and modern comfort—close to everything you need, yet surrounded by peaceful hill country views.

Ideal for groups of up to 16, this retreat features a thoughtfully designed main house, plus a casita with extra sleeping areas, giving everyone space to relax. The interior is vibrant and full of fun colors throughout, creating a lively and inviting atmosphere. A versatile office/gym space provides room to work, exercise, or unwind.

Step outside and you’ll find your own hill country paradise: a sparkling in-ground pool, lounge areas for soaking up the sun, and plenty of outdoor space to dine, play, or simply take in the views. At House of the Rising Sun, you’ll feel miles away from it all while still being just minutes from everything Dripping Springs and Austin have to offer.

The whole complex was beautiful and spacious. We had 14 people and we had plenty of space to accommodate all of us. The house was well stocked and the artwork and decor of the house really added to the appeal of the place. The host was very accommodating and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. We loved this place so much that we plan to come back in the summer.

Our group of 14 had a wonderful time at this location in Dripping Springs. The host was available on our check-in and check-out days to answer questions. That alone was such a relief to know how quick and responsive they were. The home itself is very nice and equipped with all amenities you would need for a weekend stay. I would definitely book this home again for a future visit.

We had a great time on labor day vacation with family and friends . Great and fast responses on communications. Beautiful view, nice pool, plenty of rooms and spaces. Great location. Fabulous house! Such a pretty pool with amazing views. We were a group of all adults (15, ages 22-62) celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. Plenty of room for all of us. Kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms had everything we needed. Communication with the host was easy and fast. An unexpected surprise was all of the cool art around the house. Definitely recommend this fun compound!

Amazing Home

We were looking for a beautiful home where we could relax and spend time together ans a family and this one was perfect! We cooked out, played games, read, watched movies, and had plenty of pool time. The only time we ventured out was to the grocery store. It was exactly what we wanted plus an amazing and tranquil view. Casita was equally as beautiful. What an amazing eye to detail this home has. I would highly recommend this home.

The house is absolutely beautiful and the pool was a dream to be in during the Texas heat. The outside tv was awesome and we played switch games on it several times! The kitchen was the perfect place for our group to grab food, cook together, and play mixologist. The Pool Haus (as we called it) was so cozy and perfect for our group. On the downside, there we're two broken items when we arrived- the trash drawer and the glass doors to the outside game/office room. These were not issues that affected our enjoyment, but were notable!
