What a cute little house!! We enjoyed all of our stay, but the best part was sitting on the back deck with a cup of coffee enjoying what nature had to offer!

Trout Fishing Trip place to stay

Well kept clean house. For people fly fishing it is between a couple of good walk in access points that are good for wade fishing.

Beautiful property right on the river! Quiet and lovely. Staff was incredible and went above and beyond for us during our stay. Only downside was the difficulty to actually fish from the property...was disappointed with that aspect but everything else was wonderful!

This was a perfect getaway to relax and enjoy nature.

We stayed for 4 days but could have stayed for 2 weeks. We really enjoyed the peacefulness of this area. Whether you fish or just enjoy a nice cup of coffee and enjoy the sounds of nature around you. This was a perfect vacation to leave all work and worries behind. Thank you.

Great Home Base for Area Fishing

My two brothers and I stayed here for a fly fishing trip. It is a great location for fly fishers who want to fish the area. Its ideally located between Cotter and Norfork, making its a quick drove to many fly fishing hot spots in the area. We caught a lot of fish from several different species; rainbow trout, brown trout, and smallmouth bass. The house was clean and well furnished. Lisa was a wonderful host. She is genuine, attentive, quick to respond, and provided valuable information on the area. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend!

Dogwood Cabin Visit

Our plan was to have a short getaway on the way back from a family funeral near St. Louis. I planned to do some fishing, but was unable to access the online AGFC site to purchase a license. Besides that I was not able to get to a spot to fish. The water was low and since I'm elderly I was not able to get down the steep bank below the house to reach the water. So I didn't even get to wet a line. The cabin was equipped with a Keurig pot, but for the life of me I could not find any pods. So I had to use the instant coffee that was in the cabinet. Other than that, the cabin was clean and pretty well equipped. We were able to relax and get some much needed rest.
