We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Calm Waters. We already booked our next stay. The house and property were perfect for our group, something for everyone. The house, the property and the lake are even better than the pictures. Highly recommend Calm Waters!

We stayed at Calm Waters for our son’s wedding weekend! Our host, Celine, and property mgr, Jeremy, were super communicative and helpful, the lake home is well appointed, with all necessities and great space for our large family. We loved the basement gaming room, backyard for bonfire, and lake. So much fun!

Property is located right on the chain and offers amazing views and opportunities to enjoy the lakes on kayaks, paddleboards, or just floating in the nice dock area. House comfortably hosted 8 adults and three children with lots of indoor activities for any rainy days. Conveniently located between Waupaca and King for access to town and a lot of restaurants.

Our return stay

We stayed here last year and returned again this year. It’s an especially good place for families. We had a couple of cold and rainy days and enjoyed all there was to do in the basement.

Great stay!

We had a great stay with both our kids, their spouses, and 3 grandkids. The kayaks, paddle boat, and SUP were all put to good use despite the cold rainy weather. The cottage was spacious with plenty of room for all.

House was very clean. Had a lot of fun with the pontoon boat, kayaks and all the float toys. Local contact Jeremy was great to work with!

summer on the chain

location was great - walking distance to everything, access to the chain, tucked back in a bay with plenty of floaties, kayaks, paddle boat and a nice pier. great gathering space - plenty of room for a large group. Would have preferred a gash grill but we made do - convenient fire pit for s'mores and a nice sun porch.

Limekiln Lake

Great property and we had a great time! Wish there was a larger area of sand (minus weeds) for our little people to play in. Lake had more weeds than expected.

July 2023

We have been going for five years, and this was by far our favorite property! The location is great, and we can walk to several restaurants. The boat rental was also a plus. There is an on-call handyman who is available if you have any problems while you were staying there. It’s a big plus.

Adult family, Party of 5.

Clean house, comfortable furnishings, and nice landscaping. Pontoon boat for rental at property was very convenient. Ample locations for biking in area as well. Either lightly traveled backroads, highways with wide shoulders, and trails in local state park* (we didn't actually ride in the state park).

Family gathering

Celebrated our adult son’s birthday. This unit was perfect for the purpose. We enjoyed the dock, the kayaking, hiking at Hartman statue park, the local covered bridges, dining at nearby restaurants and visiting by the fire pit in the evening. Would definitely recommend this home. 10 adults and 1 teen and we were all very comfortable. The game room was wonderful.

Very Clean, great location!

Fully stocked home with wonderful layout for a family get together. Plenty of bedrooms with multiple beds. Nice master with private bath. Fun lower level with games and bar. Nice pontoon for an additional fee. Parts of the lakes are extremely low and need to know this in advance. Loved being able to walk to Scoops, Wheelhouse & ICC! Will definitely return!

A fun family vacation!

Great spot! The owner of the property was very accommodating, however the company that takes care of the property, we could never reach. We called twice and his voice mail was full. It was not a big deal, we just wanted to know if we could enter the property due to the fact that we arrived early. I also was expecting to have wood for the fire pit. We will return!

Wonderful Location

I rented this property for a week on the lake with my kids and grandchildren. It was able to accommodate the 9 of us comfortably. Plenty for the grandkids to do, although the tubing inflatables shown in the listing were not available. We rented the pontoon boat from the owner which was cheaper than renting from across the lake and was great for exploring the Chain O' Lakes. We had a plumbing leak while we were there and the property manager was right on yop of it. He had a plumber there within an hour and it was fixed right away. The owner also called to apologize for the inconvenience. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I would recommend this property!
