Welcome to Chasing Sunsets, a laid back beach retreat where salty breezes, water views, and easy beach access set the tone for a perfect Dauphin Island getaway. This home has been completely renovated, offering a fresh, comfortable space designed for relaxing coastal living. With a one minute walk to the beach, a spacious wrap around porch, and a family friendly layout, this home invites guests to slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures of island life.

Step inside to a bright and inviting open living area where the kitchen, dining space, and living room come together to create the heart of the home. Large windows bring in natural light while the coastal inspired décor and comfortable seating create a relaxed setting for gathering with family and friends after a day at the beach. The living room features a Smart TV (Roku), perfect for unwinding in the evenings.

The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals during your stay, featuring white cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, generous counter space, and a spacious island with seating that makes it easy to cook, serve, and stay connected with everyone in the room. The coffee and drink station has a Nespresso with a frother, drip coffee maker, a Keurig, and a blender. The nearby dining area provides the perfect place for shared meals, game nights, or planning the next day’s island adventures.

Sleeping Arrangements (Sleeps 11)
• SE King Suite – King bed, Smart TV (Roku), and private bathroom
• NW Queen Room – Queen bed and Smart TV (Roku)
• SW Bunk Room – Twin over full bunk bed, twin bed and trundle, and Smart TV (Roku)
• Living Room – Sleeper sofa for additional guests

The common bathroom is conveniently located between the NW Queen Room and SW Bunk Room. A half bathroom is located near the laundry room for additional convenience.

One of the highlights of Chasing Sunsets is the large wrap around porch, where guests can relax and enjoy water views while soaking in the island breeze. Whether you're starting the day with coffee, watching the sky change colors in the evening, or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings, this outdoor space quickly becomes a favorite gathering spot.

Best of all, the beach is just about a one minute walk away, making it easy to spend your days swimming, shell collecting, or enjoying sunset walks along Dauphin Island’s beautiful shoreline.

Guests have access to a storage closet located under the house, perfect for keeping your beach gear organized. Feel free to store your own items or borrow any beach gear available in the closet to make your time on the sand even easier.

Chasing Sunsets is a pet friendly home, so your four legged family members can join in on the adventure. With quiet island streets, nearby beaches, and plenty of outdoor space to explore, it is a wonderful place for the whole family to enjoy.

During your stay, take time to explore everything Dauphin Island has to offer. Visit Fort Gaines, walk the trails of the Audubon Bird Sanctuary, or discover marine life at the Alabama Aquarium at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab. Local restaurants serve fresh Gulf seafood and provide the relaxed coastal dining experience the island is known for.

As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!

Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly, dogs only, 2-Pet Maximum Limit - $100 pet fee per pet plus tax applies.
