The Space:

Perched directly on the edge of Lake Rotoiti at Okere Falls, this beautifully presented holiday home delivers one of the most spectacular settings in the Rotorua Lakes region. From the moment you arrive through the gated entrance, the vast blue expanse of the lake stretches out behind the house - and it never gets old.



Inside, the open-plan kitchen, dining and living area is the heart of the home. The chef's kitchen is genuinely impressive: a large marble-look island bench with four bar stools, a professional 6-burner dual-oven gas range with black rangehood and mirrored splashback, and full-height white cabinetry with every appliance you could need. Pendant lighting sets the mood, while oversized windows and sliding doors frame the lake at every turn. The dining table seats six, and the living area features a generous L-shaped sectional sofa, a log burner with guard for cooler evenings, a heat pump for year-round comfort, and a large flat-screen TV.



The home has three bedrooms, all freshly appointed. The master bedroom features a king bed with a luxe navy velvet headboard and a direct lake view through its window - wake up to the water every morning. The second bedroom also has a king bed with matching navy headboard and dresser. The third bedroom is set up as a twin, with two single beds - ideal for kids or extra guests. The bathroom is a highlight: a stylish freestanding soaking bath, a large rain shower with a black-framed sliding glass door, a backlit round mirror, and a floating timber vanity. Linen and towels are provided.



Outside is where this property really shines. The large timber deck wraps across the rear of the house and features frameless glass balustrade so nothing interrupts the lake view. There's a Weber BBQ, a picnic-style dining table with bench seating, a market umbrella, and plenty of space to sprawl in the sun. Steps lead down to a generous lawn that slopes gently to the lake's edge, where two kayaks are ready to launch. A full-size trampoline and a children's swing set complete the picture for families. Guest Access:

Guests have exclusive use of the entire property: the main house, double garage, full laundry, all outdoor areas including the timber deck, lawn, and garden. Two kayaks are available for guest use with direct lake access from the property. The trampoline and swing set are included for family use. Off-street parking is available on the concrete driveway for multiple vehicles.



The Neighborhood:

Okere Falls sits on the north-eastern arm of Lake Rotoiti, part of the spectacular Rotorua Lakes district. The area is beloved by boaties, kayakers, and trout fishers - and it's easy to see why from this property. The Kaituna River, famous for its white-water kayaking and the Tutea Falls (one of the highest commercially rafted waterfalls in the world), is just minutes away. The historic Okere Falls walkway is a short drive, and the lake itself is one of the finest in the region for swimming, paddling, and watching the sunrise.



Rotorua city is approximately 20 minutes by car and offers world-class geothermal experiences at Te Puia and Wai-O-Tapu, the Skyline gondola and luge, Rainbow Springs, Rotorua Museum, and an excellent range of restaurants and cafes. The Redwoods Whakarewarewa Forest - a mountain biking and walking mecca is also within easy reach.



Getting Around:

A car is essential to make the most of this location, and off-street parking for multiple vehicles is available on-site. Rotorua city centre is approximately 20 minutes' drive, with all major supermarkets, restaurants, and attractions accessible from there. Rotorua Airport is around 25 minutes away. The property sits in a quiet lakeside community, so day-to-day life is peaceful - this is genuinely a place to switch off, get on the water, and breathe.

The nearest boat-ramp suitable for launching-Is located approximately a three-minute drive from the property.



We provide onsite parking suitable for your boat or jetski. However, larger boats may be required to park off-street, outside the property boundary. Please ensure you bring secure locks for your boat trailer.
