Relax, unwind, and enjoy a peaceful escape on the edge of Swansea. Nestled on open, quiet land just minutes from the beach and town, this warm and welcoming cabin is designed for couples seeking comfort, calm, and time together by the nearby sea. A Quiet Coastal Retreat for Two
Set on 11,000m² of open, peaceful land on the edge of Swansea, our three modern cabins offer a calm and unhurried escape for couples.
Each cabin is designed for two guests only, creating a naturally quiet and intimate atmosphere. With plenty of space surrounding you and only a small number of cabins on the property, it’s easy to settle in, breathe deeply, and truly switch off.
Begin your day slowly with coffee in the fresh coastal air. Take the gentle 6-minute walk to the beach for a morning stroll along the shoreline, or wander 15 minutes into town for a relaxed lunch at one of Swansea’s cafés. Then return to the stillness of your cabin, where comfort and simplicity invite you to rest.
Built just three years ago, the cabins are fresh, modern, and thoughtfully designed to feel warm and welcoming — a peaceful space to read, nap, talk, and reconnect.
If you’re longing for calm, space, and time together by the sea, this is your place to unwind. 🌿 Around Swansea, you can relax on Jubilee Beach, walk to Waterloo Point for coastal views, and explore the historic town centre and nearby Spiky Bridge. It’s also a great base for visiting Freycinet National Park, where you’ll find stunning beaches, pink granite mountains and scenic lookouts, as well as enjoying local wineries and fresh seafood along the east coast.

About the host
Hosted by Paul Alton
Hi. My wife and I are originally from the UK and have been living in Australia since 2012. We Have lived in WA, QLD and now we have made the move to TAS for the relaxed, easy paced lifestyle.
Why they chose this property
We have chosen Swansea as our place to stay since it has the beautiful small community feel, and the quietness. We can have a small 5 minute walk down to the beach which stretches for 13km. The town is just a 2 minute drive, or a 15 minute walk, depending on what kind of mood you are in. People are friendly to chat with and will help you out in any way they can.
What makes this property unique
Our property is on a nice flat 11,000m block. There are only 3 cabins on the land, to which we live in Cabin 1 for now. So that means, at the very most, there will only be ourselves, and 1 other cabin that may have 2 other people in. They are stratigically seperated so you have your very own privacy. You can sit outside early in the morning and listen to the waves crashing onto the shore, or late at night, you can glance up and count the stars while having a nice glass of wine with the outdoor heater on. Perfect for singles or couples wanting some peace and quiet.
