Linda’s place was awesome. The location was great, check-in was easy, place was huge and quiet. There’s a park near by for my dog was the best. Linda was also so sweet and was super kind. I would stay here again for sure. Thanks again Linda!

This spacious apartment is in a lovely, walkable neighbourhood - close to Magna Centre, Vince’s grocery store and restaurants.Also a short drive to the 404.Linda is a very responsive and friendly host who made our stay quite comfortable.

The pictures showed a pool bit it was unusable as it had not been maintained. Property was overgrown with vegetation, had to duck to get through the walkway. But under the circumstances was appreciative of it’s availability and location.

Hi Meghan, I saw your review and feel a few points need clarification. The pool is not included in the rental, as clearly stated on Vrbo, and Vrbo requires hosts to include backyard photos, which is why the pool appears in the listing. Your stay was immediately after the GTA storm, which affected the pool’s clarity. My property is always maintained to meet municipal bylaws and property standards, and I personally take great pride in cleanliness, which I believe was evident in the unit, although this was not mentioned in your review. Also, at your mother’s request, I provided an 8:30 a.m. check-in instead of 4:30 p.m., (8 hours early check in ) completely free of charge, arranging for my cleaners to come in early (outside their regular time) to accommodate my guest request. This was not mentioned in your review either. I respect your experience, but I believe reviews should be fair and accurate. I wish you and your family all the best. Linda

Linda’s place lived up to its description. Linda herself was exceptionally welcoming. We spent two wonderful days in Newmarket definitely helped by having secured such a clean, well-organized and beautifully decorated accommodation. There were so many nice and thoughtful touches that we appreciated – sufficient toiletries, a beautiful stuffed heart at the base of the bed, hangers in the clothes closets together with a lovely-smelling sachet of air refresher, etc. The couple suggestions to Linda would be the following- (1) There should be clearer instructions for opening the side gate to access the property. The gate lock is not visible from the outside and unless you know exactly where it’s located on the inside (and are of a good height too), you will encounter difficulty. Here I must add that Linda is very responsive to her phone. Therefore the moment of doubt/concern upon arrival was very brief due to that fact alone. (2) Prospective clients should be forewarned that the fridge (a beautiful Samsung, if I recall correctly) is so state-of-the-art that there’s an alarm if the temperature inside the fridge drops a certain degree. This might occur whilst you’re placing something into the fridge and (of course) vice versa. The alarm creates unnecessary anxiety until one discovers its source! To Linda: Thank you again for your hospitality. I will close this review by stating that you personally as well as your unit, together earned and surpassed a 5-star rating!
