Enjoy the character and comfort of my 115 year old former bank. It is the exclusive place to stay while in Grandview. You can sleep 6 people if 2 people share each double bed. Or 4 people if there’s one person in each bed and one on the couch.
20 min from the Duck Mountains, which you see to the north from the dining room window. Across the street is a Bar, Restaurant, and C - Store. The via rail train stops across the street. Also close by the pharmacy, library, liquor, and grocery Store
The space: You’ll have access to the whole suite. 3 bedrooms with double beds. Kitchen, living room, and 1.5 bathrooms (Shower, no tub). If you have a large vehicle or trailer that doesn’t fit on the street, other parking can be arranged by request. Children are welcome, I just don’t have a crib or high chair currently. Please No Pets - I am an animal lover but I have allowed pets in the past and have always had issues. So unfortunately I had to stop allowing them.
Guest access The building has electronic entry with guest card access. Airbnb automatically sends you the code 48hrs before checking in.. or it can be found at the bottom of your booking confirmation. 24 hour surveillance cameras used in the entrance ways for guest safety.
Other things to note I own and operate a cannabis dispensary on the main floor. I’ll will also soon also have a former railway caboose to rent that will be north of Grandview at the edge of the Duck Mountains.
If the suite is not left clean, or pets are brought without asking, I will be adding additional cleaning fees.

About the host
Your host
I grew up in the Grandview area approximately 15 minutes north of my rental. I love living in this town because of our proximity to the Duck Mountain Provincial Park nearby and all the outdoor activities we have available here. We have some of the most beautiful lakes in the province nearby and there is endless activities to do if you enjoy being outdoors.
Why they chose this property
This town has alot of history and I enjoy sharing its stories with my guests. This part of town is likely the best place to be situated due to the conveniences it has near by. We are located right across the street from where the VIA rail train stops. We have a convenience store across the street as well. There is also a coffee shop, restaurant, pub, pharmacy, liquor store, and grocery store nearby. Our town also has some nice walking trails, a swimming pool, and great recreational facilities whether it be baseball, curling, or hockey that interests you!
What makes this property unique
There are not many 120 year old buildings left in town, let alone ones that you can rent and call your very own for your stay! My old bank is one of the oldest in town, and my guests enjoy the comfort and character of the former managers suite on the second floor. If these walls could talk, they would have stories going back to the beginning of the 1900's. The bank came up for sale in the late 2010's and I am very fortunate that I was able to purchase it and now call it my own! If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to reach out!
