Only one hour from Atlanta lies a magical retreat for family, friends, or corporate needs. This cozy 3bdr 2 bath cottage sits on 100 wooded acres with trails to explore and is bordered by the Flint River and Line Creek. Here you can while away the hours picnicing, reading on the swinging porch bed, picking fruit from trees or vines, trying out a new recipe in our fully equipped kitchen or stargazing.Looking for more adventure? Take your kayak for a spin down the Flint River Water Trail (entry points nearby), cook your fresh catch on the grill, venture into the nearby small towns to explore coffee shops, bookstores, take a tour to tv & movie filming location scenes (The Walking Dead sites, The Hunger Games, Fried Green Tomatoes, and more), and shop. Come explore the serene beauty of Haven's Rest! (Note: We are 15 minutes to Riverwood Studios, under 40 minutes to the U.S. Soccer Federation, approx. 1hr. 15min to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, and just under an hour to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport). Please not that as of 6/30/2026, local torrential rains have damaged our 1/2mile long driveway and it is currently a bit of a bumpy ride. It is in the process of repair and is still usable, just bumpy!

Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Keep it simple to get on your way quickly! Just pull covers down a bit on used beds. Dirty towels may be left on bathroom floor. Please take trash out to the large bin on the left of the barn.
Loading and starting the dishwasher would be much appreciated, but is not mandatory. Please check for your chargers etc. before you go! Lock the door when you leave by pushing the Yale button.

Property was fantastic; clean, well equipped, well maintained and well furnished. We had a wonderful stay with family. Lots of extras like reading lights for the bunk beds, ice in the freezer, nice dishes and utensils, many others. Host communication was great. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. House was great and surrounding property was perfect for exploring, butterfly watching, nighttime stargazing and just enjoying nature. Highly recommend and will be staying there again.

We had a wonderful stay! The house and property are beautiful. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with. The location is nice, it feels peaceful and remote but is just about a twenty minute drive to Senoia. Would love to bring my family back here again!

We loved this cottage!! Everything was tastefully updated, clean, beautiful, relaxing, comfortable, and great communication and attentiveness from the host, Debbie. The gardens are inspirational and the porches are very relaxing. I would stay here again. The driveway was long but the signs were cute and it’s nice to know how secluded we were for a get away.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The property is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and wonderfully peaceful. It’s one of those places where you settle in almost immediately and start wishing you had booked a few more days.What really sets this property apart are all the little personal touches. You can tell the owner has put a lot of thought into making guests feel welcome and comfortable, and those small details make a big difference. The owner was also an absolute delight to work with — warm, helpful, and easy to communicate with from beginning to end.We’ve stayed in our share of vacation rentals, and this is one we would gladly return to. Beautiful place, peaceful setting, incredibly clean, and a wonderful host.If you’re considering this property, go ahead and book it. You’ll be glad you did. It really is a special place, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We were pleasantly surprised with everything about this property! From cleanliness to amenities, it has everything one needs for a comfortable, quiet get-a-way! There walk-in shower and numerous butterfly attracting plants was nice. Those plants also attract hummingbirds. We saw 1 deer, 2 possums, a few tree frogs on the windows at night , 1 salamander. and an armadillo during our visit. If you spent more time on the porches, would very likely see more critters for sure. We highly recommend this rental if you don't mind being 1/2 mile off the main road and like the quiet and isolation. The host was always available and helpful w/ questions about the area.

This had been the most relaxing stay. The home is beautiful. Everything you could possibly need. The flowers are so beautiful. You can sit on the front porch and just listen to the sound of nature or talk with family members about old times. The bedrooms are wonderful too. There's one with a full size bed and bunk beds and reading lights for each. And there's great communication with the host, she's been very helpful and always letting me know if i need anything to let her know. I can't say enough good things about the home or my stay!

We stayed at Haven's Rest for a week and we loved it so much we didn't want to leave. The rooms are just like the listing photos and it feels so welcoming inside the home. The kitchen has everything you need to actually cook a meal for your family and/ or entertain. The house had snacks for us when we arrived, the beds are very comfortable too! Somehow we missed the 3rd bathroom until the day before we left! The host has thought of everything. They even have dog bowls for your pet. We did communicate with the host and they are very friendly & quick to respond and even texted me after we left to tell me that our son had left his sweatshirt there, so we went back and picked it up. You will love the outdoor space and the nature surrounding the property. We saw a dozen or so deer and turkeys even crossed the driveway when we were driving in and butterflies fluttering around by the driveway. We liked the location too. The driveway is long and the house is on a hill, it was quiet and relaxing and when we needed snacks, we drove a few minutes down the road to Publix. Book it now. You won't regret it!

This property is amazing! My husband and I spent the weekend here for a quick get away. It was so peaceful and the grounds are beautiful. The house has everything you could ever need. Dishes were plentiful and clean. We found the bed to be comfortable and there is a TV in each bedroom (although there were better things to do around there than watch TV). Debbie was very responsive and gave is great information before we arrived. We will definitely be back.
