Welcome to Harrington Point on Lake Erie in Conneaut, Ohio - one of the best-kept secrets in the very Northeastern corner of the state. The coastline along the lake in this part of the state is situated perfectly for stunning sunsets over the water! 66 Harrington Point is a clean, nicely-decorated, fully furnished 3-bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage that sleeps up to six people. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary dishes, pots, pans and utensils for preparing meals. Other spaces include the comfortably-sized living room, quiet sitting area, and fun recreation room. The back yard has a grill and picnic table. The living room and recreation room are equipped with flat screen streaming HD TVs. Guest WiFi is also provided. The most important feature, however, is access to Harrington Point’s private beach and picnic area a short walk from the cottage, or if you prefer, you can drive down the hill and park, making it easier to transport blankets, chairs, towels, picnic baskets, etc to the water’s edge. The beach area features a short pier, swing set, picnic table, and grassy area under the shade of a grand willow tree. (PLEASE NOTE - Driving access to the beach is restricted from November through March every year.) Locally, Conneaut boasts a variety of restaurants and taverns. Conneaut Creek and the Port of Conneaut draw fishermen and boaters from all around. Conneaut Township Park features a vast public beach with boardwalks, pavilions, concessions, a playground, basketball courts, and picnic areas. Township Park also hosts one of the nations largest D-Day re-enactments every August drawing tens of thousands from all over the country. A short drive outside of Conneaut, the rest of Ashtabula County offers scenic covered bridge tours, fantastic wineries, the historic Ashtabula Harbor, and popular family destination Geneva-On-The-Lake. DISCLOSURE: One security camera is installed on the front of the property monitoring the driveway only. No cameras are installed inside the property or any other exterior areas.

The home was very nice and well kept. It was the perfect size and location for our visit. We absolutely loved sitting by the campfire on the beach as the sun went down.
What a cute and convenient cottage! Had everything we needed for a weekend stay. It will be even better in warm weather to take better advantage of the enclosed front and back rooms. The host was quick to communicate.
This property is ALWAYS amazing. Our favorite place to stay in Conneaut. Clean, well stocked, close to the beach, easy access and great communication from the owners .
Our 4th summer staying here and it is excellent every time! Always spotless and comfortable. Even if the weather isn’t great the games they have keep us busy. We look forward to this trip every year!
We love this place in Conneaut at Lake Erie! We have stayed here multiple times. The beach is great, and the property is fantastic. It's our go to for Lake Erie vacations!
Had a quick but very nice trip to this cottage. Cottage is very cute and had everything we needed. Owners are very responsive and there was something for everyone. We plan on returning next year!
We love this cottage. It’s so nice and always so clean. Fun activities to do when the weather is bad (shuffleboard, board games, arcade machine). When the weather is nice, the beach area is so fun. We’ll be back!

About the host
Hosted by Jason and Kim Weeks
Jason and I are from this area. We have two teenage daughters that keep us running, but when we can, we enjoy spending time at the beach. We have owned a cottage down the road for several years now and absolutely love the relaxing atmosphere of the lake. A few years back, we learned that a cottage was for sale on Harrington Point. Not many people (not even a lot of locals) are aware of the unique, private access to the lake that Harrington Point has to offer. We did not hesitate to jump on the opportunity to become a part of it. Even though our first cottage is not air-conditioned, and only has access to the beach via a long stairway, we still love it, and neither of our daughters wanted to part with it, so we made the decision to share our Harrington Point cottage with you. All of our guests have loved the place and the private beach, and in the few years that we’ve rented it, it has become more and more popular, to the point where we don’t get an opportunity to enjoy it for ourselves. More recently, yet another rare opportunity to buy a cottage at Harrington Point became available. It wasn’t the most convenient time financially, but, knowing how nice it is to own a cottage here is, and because of how much we loved the new cottage, we pulled everything together to purchase #66. This cottage is roomier and more relaxed than our first one, and we envision being able to use this one for ourselves at least a little bit from time to time, and eventually, when we retire to somewhere warm for the winters, we can make this our summer home!
Why they chose this property
We feel that Ashtabula County has so much to offer and Conneaut has one of the nicest, well-maintained parks around. While Lake Erie is the smallest of the Great Lakes, a lot of people don’t realize that you can’t see all the way across to Canada. Harrington Point is a quiet, little private community nestled away just off of the beaten path. This cottage is a secret passageway out of regular life into a comfortable, relaxing getaway.
