Great location, spotless with all little extras like kureg cups with coffee and tea, and also ziplock bags as well as seasonings and oil. Great parking and within walking distance of all the best spots.

The house was newly remodeled with a kitchen that was homey and ready to cook in. The location was right next to downtown which had great places to eat and drink..

Our family of five loved the house! It was a perfect location for our family trip to Conneaut and Erie. The house was even better than we expected. The upstairs was pretty warm, but windy nights made it easy to cool the rooms down!

Weekend stay

The house works well for a home base for a weekend on Lake Erie. The kitchen is well stocked, furnishings are cozy and new. Walk to Main Street to Harbor Perk for coffee and to watch the boats going in and out of the harbor. It’s a 15 min drive to Geneva on the Lake and all the action.

This house was perfect, it was very clean it felt like home away from home. Kitchen had everything we needed, we bought groceries and ate breakfast every morning there. WiFi worked great. Location is perfect to walk to lil stores and coffee shop. It was nice to sit on benches up town and just enjoy the view. The backyard was large enough for the kids to play while we sat outside and drank coffee.

Absolutely stunning! This property was an absolute dream. If I could, I’d give it 10 STARS without hesitation! We arrived in the heart of winter, and the house welcomed us with the coziest, warmest atmosphere pure comfort from the moment we stepped inside. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy for everyone to relax and get a great night’s sleep. With two bathrooms, the setup was super convenient for the seven of us, which made our stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. Leona was super responsive to my messages and made adding extra people to our stay easy. She is an amazing Host. The location is perfect just a short distance from the harbor, adding to the charm and convenience. Sunflower House truly lives up to its name: bright, inviting, and full of warmth. After staying here in winter, it’s easy to imagine how amazing this place will be in the summertime as well. I can’t recommend this property enough an unforgettable stay any season!

The house was clean, comfortable and exactly as advertised. I had to take my elderly in-laws out of town for a few days and this worked out so much better than a hotel. There is one queen bedroom on the main floor and the other three bedrooms are upstairs. The location is great for walking to all the little shops, pubs and marinas around the draw bridge, though you do have to walk back up one hill. The host was amazing. Communication was outstanding and they went out of their way to accommodate a special request.

Awesome long weekend

We had a 3-generation long weekend at this beautiful home in Ashtabula Harbor… what a great experience. The home is so clean and inviting. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and hanging out together in the living room. The bedrooms and bathrooms were absolutely perfect for our group! We enjoyed the backyard, and the house made a great place to relax, tour the local wineries, and go to the beach! The beach is only 1/2 mile away, and it’s a very family friendly area. We had a great time in the town of Ashtabula Harbor and got to see the bridge in action several times. A couple of things to keep in mind if you stay here: the upstairs bedrooms get warm (it was near 90 degrees) so you may want to bring a fan, and the house is a big hill above the town (and two big hills above the beach) so even though it’s only a block from the adorable shops, it’s not really walkable for most people!! We loved staying here!

Our stay at the Sunflower house was great. We had a smooth check in process, house was clean and well stocked. Leona communicated well and was accommodating for a late check out. House was within walking distance to the Main Street for restaurants and coffee. Overall a great place to stay for the weekend.
