The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:

Load and start the dishwasher

Strip any used beds and gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

Close the Driveway gate behind you and notify Kathy that you have left, also if you need anything while there notify Kathy or call me.

Make sure all gas is SHUT OFF, Stove, oven, BBQ

Do not leave outdoor lights on.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Drive slowly, on the roads and in the driveway.10km/hour in the driveway and speed limits off the property please.

Dispose of your cigarettes in provided disposal devices. Do not deposit you buts in the driveway or anywhere on the property.

Clean up your garbage before leaving and deposit in the correct bin located in the garage.

Spent 5 days here with my Dad and Brother, this property had alot of thought put into it during build. The owner/host James was great and very responsive. Would definitely recommend this property.

Great view, very quiet, very peaceful. Didn’t use the air conditioner, as the breeze from being on the hill blew through the cottage. Loved the front balcony for morning coffee and reading. Enough space for 2 adults and 2 older teens to do their own thing.

James‘s property in Tehkummah was a perfect base for our trip to Manitoulin.The house is lovely and had everything we needed for our stay. We had all the space we could have hoped for, the well appointed kitchen made food prep and clean up easy, and the multiple bedrooms and bathrooms allowed everyone to spread out and made it easy to get ready to go each day. The washer and dryer were a welcome bonus too.James was a very attentive host, taking the time to make sure that we had everything we might need and we appreciated the information he provided about the house and local attractions.

This beautiful three-bedroom property on Manitoulin Island is the perfect place for a vacation get-away. The home is new and spacious, up on a rise, with gorgeous views of the countryside. It is peaceful and quiet day and night, and there are lots of local birds to watch from the two decks. Every possible amenity is available, including a big t.v., barbecue, air conditioner, washer/dryer, etc. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. The host is kind, helpful and responsive. We will definitely plan another visit to this spectacular place!
