Lovely owners with smooth checkin but real limits to inside and outside appeal
Owners were lovely; cottage was tiny and cluttered - biggest concerns were that due to north facing property and very big tree density including right over the cottage itself, there was no sunlight until mid afternoon and evening….very dark and many bugs otherwise on deck and 60 steps down to lake. Main bed was tiny and very uncomfortable; one of us slept in a narrow twin and the other on an older futon couch as a result. Dock was lovely with muskoka chairs and canoe, kayak and paddle board available. Please note that there is no beach; water is about 10 plus feet off the dock. Fair distance from cell and internet service as well. We actually left after four days. If there was more natural light getting through and more comfortable bed we would have stayed. We wish the owners the best; we felt it was only fair to people who are interested in booking in the future to have our comments In hand.
