This charming, newly renovated four-season cottage is located directly across from Miramichi Bay on beautiful Lake Huron and is the perfect spot for your family summer retreat.
To pass the time, you can sit on the front deck and marvel at the world-famous Lake Huron sunsets, or spend time in the large, enclosed, private backyard complete with deck, barbeque, picnic tables, and fire pit.
Situated on the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail, you can walk, bike, and roller-blade for miles along the lakeshore. If quiet wooded walks are more to your liking you can head out for a hike on the Woodland Trail with direct access right from your backyard. You have the quiet sandy beach of Miramichi Bay steps from your front door, all the while located just 5 minutes by car from the main beaches + shops and dining of both Port Elgin and Southampton. For more adventure, take a sight-seeing trip to Chantry Island, rent kayaks to enjoy the beauty of Lake Huron or Saugeen River, take a day trip to Sauble Beach, the grotto at Bruce Peninsula National Park, boat rides to Flower Pot Island, or the Chi-Cheemaun to Manitoulin. Your stay can be as busy - or as chill - as you wish.
The cottage sleeps ten (10) people with open-concept kitchen / living room / dining room, full bath w. tub/shower combination, and 3 full bedrooms on the main floor; the finished basement includes a spacious rec-room with wood stove and TV, 2 extra bedrooms, a second bathroom w. shower, and laundry with tub + washer/dryer.
Other amenities include: parking (6 car capacity); free wifi; fridge, stove, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, kettle, pots, pans, dishes, cooking utensils; iron, hair dryer; air conditioner; barbecue, fire pit, horseshoe pit; first aid kit.
Families or respectful, quiet groups preferred; non-smoking indoors; pet-friendly; parties are not permitted.
Enhanced cleaning protocols are in place, however we are asking guests to bring their own pillows, bedding and bath/beach towels. Kitchen and bathroom hand towels provided.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Garbage disposal instructions can be found on site in our guest manual.
Upon check out guests are asked to close all windows, leave keys on the dining room table, and ensure all doors are locked behind them.
Those with pets are required to ensure the yard is cleaned up of any waste upon departure, and any pet hair on furniture is cleaned up for our next guests' enjoyment.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
